Trump Throws Shade at Taylor Swift Amid Eagles’ White House Victory Celebration

President Donald Trump remembers the 2025 Super Bowl all too well.

He believes that Taylor Swift, who started dating Chiefs’ player Travis Kelce in 2023 and was notably present then, did not positively influence the Kansas City team. This team, unfortunately, lost to the Philadelphia Eagles during the championship game on February 9. Interestingly, Trump made a remark about Swift during the Eagles’ visit to the White House on April 28.

Let me tell you, I had the privilege of being present at the Super Bowl 2025! Can you believe it? Even Taylor Swift was there! Can you imagine, the first sitting president attending the big game, and then there’s me, right alongside her! Incredible, isn’t it?

At the Super Bowl, it seemed that Swift, who cheered for the Chiefs but is actually an Eagles supporter, encountered a negative response, as evident by the audible boos heard when she was displayed on the giant screen during the broadcast.

And it wasn’t the first time Trump made a comment about Swift’s appearance at the Super Bowl.

In simpler terms, Donald Trump posted on Truth Social that both the Kansas City Chiefs and Taylor Swift had challenging nights during the game. However, it seemed Taylor Swift received more unfavorable reactions from the audience as she was booed out of the stadium. Trump added that supporters of MAGA (Make America Great Again) are known for being unforgiving.

And while haters gonna’ hate, many came to the defense of the Grammy award winner. 

During an episode of their podcast ‘Calm Down With Erin and Charissa’ on February 11th, sportscaster Erin Andrews expressed sympathy. She said, ‘It’s hard to feel good for the most renowned, extraordinary woman in the world who was booed at the Super Bowl.’ She then exclaimed, ‘Leave her alone!’

“She handles everything so well,” Charissa added. “And so does Travis. He handles this so well.”

Philadelphia Eagles’ running back Saquon Berkeley, who was present during the White House visit, expressed that he doesn’t appreciate hatred. (Informal: Saquon Berkeley, the Eagles’ running back who attended the White House visit, stated that he dislikes hate.)

The team’s running back shared with Howard Stern on his radio program that her image was displayed on the big screen and she received jeers. He expressed confusion as to why she was receiving such negative reception.
