Twisted Metal Season 2 Release Window Announced with New Teaser

Friends, it’s time to rev up once more! Today, Peacock has revealed a sneak peek of Season Two for Twisted Metal. This season features Anthony Mackie from “Captain America: Brave New World” and Stephanie Beatriz known for her role in “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”, along with the release date announcement.

The show is based on the well-known PlayStation racing series with the same title. Alongside a thrilling preview, several new characters were unveiled, including Anthony Carrigan from “Superman: Legacy” as Calypso. Moreover, a poster featuring Sweet Tooth, played by Will Arnett or Samoa Joe in Season Two of “Twisted Metal,” was also revealed. Excitingly, it’s been confirmed that the second season will premiere on our screens in Summer 2025.

In this production, Michael Jonathan Smith (of Cobra Kai fame) shared that the situation is intense as John Doe (Anthony Mackie) and Quiet (Stephanie Beatriz) put their lives on the line in a perilous demolition derby competition. The reward? A solitary wish, their deepest yearning fulfilled. However, there are sixteen other drivers with their own desires. Anthony Mackie and Stephanie Beatriz head an impressive ensemble, joined by Will Arnett & Joe Seanoa (also known as Samoa Joe) as the beloved Sweet Tooth, and Anthony Carrigan as the legendary host Calypso. This season offers a rollercoaster ride of speed, laughter, and suspense, filled with memorable characters. Unfortunately, not everyone will make it through.

The show, initially aired in 2023, garnered favorable feedback following its premiere with ten episodes. Many viewers appreciated the blend of humor and action that expanded upon the universe of Twisted Metal. Although it didn’t follow the games verbatim, the second season seems to take a similar direction, featuring extravagant races and numerous explosions. It swiftly climbed up Peacock’s list of most-watched series, leading to the announcement of its second season. Thankfully, it appears that the wait was justified, judging by the trailer.
