After spending a year and three months away, popular American Twitch streamer and Counter-Strike player ‘Fenom’ has returned to the platform following his ban.
I, Fenom, am quite recognized on Twitch, a platform where more than 20,000 gamers eagerly catch my live Counter-Strike sessions, not just for the gameplay, but also for the intense showdowns I engage in with fellow players.
Yet, one of the fiery live broadcasts led to his account being suspended on the platform, as he responded aggressively to a viewer who was abusing him.
Why was Fenom banned on Twitch?
In November 2023, while streaming Counter-Strike, Fenom lashed out at an individual who persistently made inappropriate comments and insults towards him. This person had been banned permanently (permaban) numerous times for his messages, yet continued to harass Fenom despite the punishments.
Ultimately, Fenom became so fed up that he escalated his behavior towards the viewer, who then reacted by filing a complaint against him with Twitch, claiming that the streamer made threatening statements.
After receiving a response, Twitch temporarily suspended Fenom’s account for six months, later increasing it to a full year. This decision left the streamer disgruntled over how the platform handled his particular case.

Upon entering, he stirred up trouble with me. I responded firmly. He then reported me excessively. In the end, he achieved his goal and was amused by the situation,” he elaborated following his suspension.
…”I’ve got a viewer who’s been with my channel for three years, and yet another spectator has stepped in here, badmouthing me, watching my streams secretly, causing me distress. …he’s speaking negatively to me. But why can’t I respond in kind?
Fenom finally unbanned on Twitch a year after popping off on stalker
After that point, Fenom has persisted in streaming on Kick, albeit to a relatively modest viewer base… However, on March 18, he was eventually restored to Twitch, marking a return about a year and three months following his initial suspension.
Up until now, he’s remained silent about the lift of the ban, following some significant modifications Twitch made concerning permanently suspended accounts.
🚨Twitch has UNBANNED Fenom After 1 year 3 months🔥👀

Beginning in February 2025, the platform implemented a change so that violations would no longer be permanent on streamers’ accounts, instead having an expiration date. Additionally, streamers who had been permanently banned due to multiple offenses can now submit an appeal and even reapply for account reinstatement after a six-month period has elapsed.
It appears that Twitch showed leniency towards Fenom’s account considering what happened more than a year ago, and due to changes in their ban policy, some high-profile streamers who have been permanently banned, like Adin Ross, are collaborating with the company in an effort to get reinstated.
