$tWitch’s Widow Reveals Shocking Truth About His Financial Legacy

Allison Holker is still feeling the pinch in the wake of Stephen “tWitch” Boss’ death.

In her recently published memoir titled “This Far: My Story of Love, Loss, and Embracing the Light“, the widow openly discussed the financial difficulties she allegedly encountered following the suicide of her husband, who was a star on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, in December 2022 at the age of 40.

In her recently published memoir, Allison clarified a common misunderstanding: “I did not inherit Stephen’s wealth as many believe.” Instead, she explained that he had distributed large amounts of his money to family and friends, squandered it on drugs and eccentric art collections. The significant tax bill he left her for the year he passed away amounted to $1 million.

As a lifestyle advisor, I’d like to share a personal insight: During my nine-year marriage, my partner and I chose to keep our finances separate. This decision was made with the understanding that it would provide us both with financial independence and clarity in our relationship. Unfortunately, this arrangement meant that when his tax debts arose, they depleted his accounts significantly. It’s always crucial to have open conversations about financial matters in a partnership.

She went on to say, “It seemed like everything was running smoothly, but as I look back, it wasn’t as simple as I had initially believed.” In essence, he took care of his finances, and I handled mine, while we split the expenses. It appeared straightforward, but now I see that it wasn’t quite as effortless as it seemed.

Meanwhile, Allison, who has children Weslie (16), Maddox (8), and Zaia (5) together with Stephen, noted that managing their family finances served as a diversion from her sorrow. However, the former contestant on So You Think You Can Dance confessed that she’s still grappling financially in the thick of it.

She stated that if Stephen had realized how much of our savings would be spent on legal fees to rectify the mess he created, perhaps things would have been different. It’s reasonable to assume it would have. Stephen left me with twice as much work, twice the noise, twice the hardships, twice the chaos – all while reducing our household income by half.

Previously, Allison justified her choice to pen the book following criticism from some within Stephen’s close associates, notably his brother Dre Rose and his mother Connie Boss Alexander.

In a recent Instagram Story post, the dancer made it clear that her purpose in writing the book was purely to share her personal story and aspects of her life with Stephen, in an effort to inspire others. If you choose to read the book, she hopes that you’ll understand her aim is to honor the love and life she shared with Stephen and their three wonderful children.

On Instagram, he wished his son a happy birthday. He finds it hard to believe that his little prince, now six years old, has grown so quickly. Time seems to have flown by. He marvels at how tall, smart, and self-reliant his son has become. It all happened too fast. Yet, he is immensely proud of the positive impact his son continues to make in the world. Moreover, every day his son is showing him how to be a better person – both as a father and individual – while he, in turn, is guiding his son. It’s a beautiful, reciprocal journey.

Ho Ho Ho!

But what made this decade truly exceptional was the growth of our family and the arrival of our wonderful children! #decade #nye #lookingback #life #love #adventure #memories #newyork @sir_twitch_alot.
