Meet Jeanne and Maikan

However, one storm-tossed night, her dreams turn into her most terrifying nightmare as her boat wrecks, stranding her without resources to confront the wilderness. The only other survivor is Capitaine, a charming English Shepherd who was traveling with her.

Across the river, a youthful and astute Innu woodsman named Maikan senses a melancholic change in the ambiance. His innate feelings warn him of an intrusion into his ancestral woodland, causing him to ponder his deeply-held convictions.
