Microsoft programmers have been diligently tracking social media platforms for user feedback regarding the Microsoft Store. Rudy Huyn, the main architect at the helm of the Microsoft Store, shared on X platform some updates implemented as a result of the received feedback.
In total, Microsoft has made over 150 client-side changes, according to Huyn.
When Microsoft discontinued their free wallpapers and themes site, I expressed my disappointment regarding the organization of themes on the Microsoft Store. It appears that I wasn’t the only one with this concern, as Microsoft has now developed a fresh section specifically dedicated to browsing themes.
Another modification is that downloaded items will now be displayed independently from the “My Library” section in the Microsoft Store.
Game enthusiasts were given special attention too, since they can now pick game elements prior to downloading a game.
In my perspective, downloading particular components used to be a real headache when I contrasted the Microsoft Store with Steam. It’s music to my ears that some adjustments are being made to enhance the user experience.
Microsoft’s updates include the introduction of new server modules, a refreshed feature for home page highlights, and the addition of an AI Hub specifically designed for Copilot+ computers, concluding in a remarkable lineup of improvements.
Huyn promised in his final post that more changes are coming.
