Two WWE Superstars Move on to Money in the Bank, Including In-Ring SmackDown Debut

On SmackDown, the Money in the Bank ladder match qualifiers continued, adding excitement to both lineups. For the women’s contest, Charlotte Flair, Zelina Vega, and newcomer Giulia battled it out, marking Giulia’s first appearance in the ring on SmackDown. In the men’s division, LA Knight, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Aleister Black fought for a spot, with all three being strong contenders to claim their briefcases. As a result of these matches, both Giulia and LA Knight have secured their places in the Money in the Bank match, making them potential winners.

Women’s Qualifier (Vega vs. Giulia vs. Flair)

Following a confrontation between Flair and Giulia, Vega grew agitated and stepped in, but Flair tossed her out of the arena. In response, Vega attempted to pin Giulia and struck down Flair, yet Giulia retaliated by ejecting Vega from the ring. Moments later, Vega hurled Giulia towards a corner. Flair responded with a powerful slam on Vega before resuming her battle against Giulia, a pattern that repeated throughout the match.

In the intense encounter, Giulia and Flair clashed, giving Giulia an edge that resulted in her pushing Flair’s face into the canvas. Continuing to be assertive, Giulia applied pressure on Flair’s side of the head before launching more attacks. Both wrestlers seemed to exhaust each other for a brief moment. In a surprising turn of events, Flair and Giulia united to tackle Vega, but Vega countered and attempted pins on both of them. Flair managed to send both Giulia and herself out of the ring, while Vega retaliated with a powerful dive from the top rope, taking down both superstars again.

In the wrestling ring, Flair and Giulia teamed up against Vega. They cornered her and executed a vertical suplex on her, but Giulia’s hasty attempt to pin her immediately ended their alliance. Angrily, Flair attacked Giulia next. Seizing the opportunity, Vega performed a crossbody and swift roll-up, but Flair managed to survive with a kickout. However, Flair was soon struck by a powerful head kick. Giulia reentered the fray and executed a suplex on Vega, followed by a cover attempt. But before she could secure the win, Flair intervened.

Once more, it was a face-off between Giulia and Flair. They traded powerful blows and chops. Giulia executed a dropkick aimed at Flair’s head, but was subsequently flattened by a brutal slam from Flair. However, Giulia managed to survive the onslaught. Giulia attempted to set up Flair, only to be struck by a kick from her opponent. Later, Flair hoisted Vega onto her shoulders, but Giulia retaliated by dropkicking both combatants to the mat. Giulia made attempts for pins on both adversaries, yet neither held fast.

A series of blows were exchanged, with Flair managing to push the two stars backwards. She climbed high and executed a crossbody, sending them crashing down, but was soon trapped in a submission hold by Vega. Giulia retaliated with an arrivederci knee, after which Flair attempted a pin. Vega was pushed down by Flair and then stepped on both combatants before ascending for a moonsault. She executed it and attempted to pin both, but they miraculously managed to kick out.

Afterward, Giulia attempted a submission move, almost succeeding, but Vega intervened with a dropkick that struck both competitors. Vega followed this by attempting a 619 maneuver, landing it only on Flair, and Giulia responded by being speared by Flair. Flair covered Giulia, but managed to get her shoulder up before the three count. To keep Vega from interfering further, Flair tossed her out of the ring. Flair then attempted a Figure 4 leglock, but Giulia countered. Flair then caught another kick and applied the Figure 4 again. A meteora move came from Vega, followed by a code red on Giulia. However, Flair prevented the pin from being counted.

In the ring, Flair collided with a ring post, prompting Vega to attempt the code red maneuver. However, Flair quickly reacted by transitioning into a Figure 4 hold. Giulia climbed the ropes and landed a stomp on Flair, disrupting the hold. She followed up by delivering the Northern Lights Bomb to Vega, securing the pin and the victory for herself. This marked Giulia’s triumphant SmackDown debut and her qualification for the Money in the Bank match. The current participants for this event now include Giulia, Roxanne Perez, Alexa Bliss, and Rhea Ripley.

Men’s Qualifier (Knight vs. Black vs. Nakamura)

Initially, during the game, Black and Knight collaborated briefly to eliminate Nakamura from play, knocking him off balance and engaging in a one-on-one battle. They exchanged attacks until Knight gained the upper hand, executing a neckbreaker on Alistair, but unfortunately, he failed to take advantage of this due to Nakamura tripping him out of the ring.

In the ensuing battle, Nakamura and Black squared off, and Nakamura was caught off-guard by a strong kick directed at his face. Agilely dodging Nakamura’s counterattack, Black retaliated with a series of blows before following up with a powerful knee strike to the face, sending Nakamura tumbling to the ground. Subsequently, Knight lunged in and forcefully threw Black down from the top rope using a superplex maneuver. However, Nakamura swiftly returned to action, delivering a blow that sent Knight crashing to the mat, temporarily thwarting his offensive momentum yet again.

After the break, Black executed a powerful move against Nakamura, but Knight intervened and viciously knocked Black to the ground with a cover. Nakamura countered the pin attempt, retaliating by shoving Knight into the steel steps. He then strutted back into the ring to taunt Black before they clashed with heavy blows to each other’s heads. The confrontation escalated as they traded headbutts and kicks, but it was Knight who regained momentum after tossing Nakamura out of the ring.

Or:

During the commercial break, Black managed a big move on Nakamura, only for Knight to intervene and slam down Black with a cover. Nakamura defied the pin attempt, hitting Knight with a forceful shove into the steel steps before returning to the ring to taunt Black. They traded fierce blows to the head, followed by headbutts and kicks, but it was Knight who seized control once more, throwing Nakamura out of the ring.

Sadly, their encounter didn’t endure for long. Black landed a knee strike on Knight, followed by a moonsault that involved both superstars, leaving the ring. It seemed like Black sustained more of the force than anyone else with those moves, and the same was true for the second one, although he did manage to take down Knight effectively. However, Knight managed to dodge one of Black’s moves and retaliated by slamming him down and executing an elbow drop. Nakamura made a quick entrance and knocked Knight down, but Knight saved the match by holding onto the bottom rope before being pinned.

In the heat of the match, Nakamura prepared to execute his finishing move, but Black swiftly countered and endured both a kick and a throw into the ring post. Moments later, Black was sent over and brutally slammed down, yet he anticipated Nakamura’s attack and retaliated with a powerful Black Mass. Just after that, Knight sprinted in, sending Black tumbling out of the ring before pinning him to secure the victory in an instant.

Currently, a Knight has secured the second position in the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match, teaming up with Solo Sikoa. In the upcoming week, an exciting qualifier is scheduled where Carmelo Hayes, Jacob Fatu, and Andrade will compete to claim the next available spot.
