Tyler Baltierra’s Heartbreaking Regret Over Daughter Carly’s Adoption Revealed!

Tyler Baltierra is sharing his truth.

In the midst of ongoing disputes with Catelynn Lowell’s adoptive parents regarding their shared daughter, Carly (now 16), the Teen Mom celebrity openly expressed that if given the chance, he would have approached situations differently in retrospect.

Tyler admitted his feelings of regret over giving up his child for adoption during a conversation with Dr. Drew Pinsky, who is facilitating their reconnection with Carly’s parents, Brandon Davis, and Teresa Davis, on the May 22 finale of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter. He explained that at the time, they weren’t aware they would become financially secure enough to address their mental health issues before expanding their family.

As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but express my feelings about the situation. At 33, I find myself reflecting on the adoption journey that Brandon and Teresa chose, one that brought Nova (10), Vaeda (6), and Rya (3) into their lives. However, I feel misled going into this process. Their decision to close the adoption in 2023 has left me with a sense of being deceived about the path we were embarking on together as a family.

In 2015, Tyler, who is now married, highlighted their deep appreciation for Catelynn’s role in giving their daughter Carly a wonderful life. However, he confessed that maintaining the distance they initially agreed to in an open adoption has proven challenging.

The reality star expressed his deep appreciation towards them, but added that he could still harbor a desire for openness and honesty in their past adoption agreement. Despite being blocked on social media, he emphasized that gratitude and longing for clarity can coexist simultaneously.

He additionally revealed during the final episode that they had been given an opportunity to hear a recording of Carly singing, but asserted that the offer came with some “controlling” stipulations. After the finale, Tyler and Catelynn accused Brandon and Teresa of not allowing them to possess a copy of the song, stating they were only permitted to listen while being filmed.

In their Instagram post dated May 22nd, the couple expressed their confusion. They’re troubled because they see you’re uncomfortable with us discussing our adoption journey publicly, but at the same time, they find it puzzling that you encourage us to perform a deeply personal song about our adoption on national television for global audiences.

Additionally, they pondered over the challenges faced by birthparents when navigating an open adoption, particularly due to the persistent unbalanced power dynamics.

The birth parents are constantly under the care of the adoptive parents, a situation that’s reasonable given that we gave up our child to them. However, this doesn’t diminish the difficulty or pain that comes with it.

In addition, they stated that they would no longer refer to Carly or her family, thereby signifying, “Truthfully, it’s a relief for us that this segment is being broadcast now, allowing us all to progress and leave this matter behind.

Back in 2009, viewers witnessed Catelynn Lowell and her now-spouse Tyler Baltierra face a challenging decision – giving their first child, Carly, up for adoption – during the premiere season of the show, “16 and Pregnant.” After 13 years as a couple, they tied the knot in August 2015. Since then, they’ve added three more daughters to their family: Novalee, Vaeda, and Rya.

Despite the lingering pain from Carly’s absence, who resides with her foster parents Brandon and Teresa Davis, the couple remains resilient in their pursuit of a promising future.

As I shared with TopMob News in January 2025, the essence of our bond is shaped by my adopted sister’s desires. Whether she yearns for a connection with her biological siblings, if she prefers a relationship with us, that’s fantastic. If she chooses not to, I fully respect her decision. Ultimately, it’s about fostering an environment centered around her needs and wishes, ensuring that her feelings guide our bond.

In the span of fewer than six months since they started dating, Maci Bookout faced difficulties with an inconsiderate Ryan Edwards on the show ’16 and Pregnant’. Despite becoming engaged, this high school sweetheart duo separated less than a year following the birth of their son Bentley in 2008.

Currently, they are working towards establishing a shared parenting partnership. As reported by TopMob News in 2023, Maci disclosed that Ryan has been present more frequently lately than perhaps he ever has previously.

In 2012, Maci discovered her lifelong partner in Taylor McKinney from Texas, and the duo started expanding their team shortly thereafter. They were blessed with daughter Jayde in May 2015, followed by son Maverick a year after. Their union was formalized in October of the same year in Florida where they exchanged vows.

2023 interview with TopMob News, she expressed that her partner is her soulmate, “He’s simply my one,” she said. “Despite the challenges we’ve faced throughout our year, I still prefer him by the end of it. I appreciate him. Even when I feel like I want to give him a good punch sometimes, I’d rather have an argument with him or a tough time together than never experience any difficulties with anyone else.

Regardless of having new romantic partners, the MTV celebrities, who met during The Challenge production, still jointly raise their daughter Ryder.

In Cheyenne’s conversation with TopMob News in March 2020, she shared that since Cory entered Ryder’s life, the primary focus had been on what kind of father he aspired to be and what type of parent he wanted to become. She made it clear that she wouldn’t accept him being a dad only for special occasions or for social media purposes. Instead, she expected him to commit fully. From the start, Cheyenne felt that Cory understood her approach and valued it, which is why they have such a successful co-parenting relationship.

Following the end of their romance in 2018, the duo chose to revive their relationship. During her 28th birthday celebration, Cheyenne announced on Instagram that she was reunited with Zach. In May 2021, they became parents for the first time, welcoming son Ace, and got married in September 2022.

In an interview with TopMob News in 2024, Cheyenne expressed that the previous two years were spent crossing items off a list. Specifically, they had set out to have a baby and achieved this with Ace; they also wanted to get married and held their wedding; lastly, they aimed to buy a house and successfully purchased one as well.

She went on saying, “I have no desire for action now. No ambition to set a target. What I long for is to rest, to remain motionless. My aim is simply to find peace with our current situation and enjoy each other’s company. That’s all I wish for, nothing more.

Shooting for the reality show ‘Ex on the Beach’ might not initially seem like the foundation of a romantic tale, but fast forward several years and two children – daughters named Mila and Maya – later, Cory and former ‘Are You the One?’ contestant Taylor Selfridge are still creating ripples.

In a conversation with TopMob News in 2023, he announced that they had recently purchased a new home. He also acknowledged the curiosity of people regarding his wedding plans, stating that while no official engagement has occurred yet, discussions about it are ongoing. He emphasized that Taylor deserves this next step and it’s something they both desire. For now, they are progressively moving towards their union.

After marrying Mackenzie Standifer in May 2017, Ryan sought help at a rehab facility not long after the wedding. Their first child, Jagger, was born in 2018 while Ryan was still undergoing treatment.

Despite bringing daughter Stella into their family in January 2020, Mackenzie initiated a divorce three years after the event. Currently, Ryan is betrothed to Amanda Conner, who carries their first child on the way.

Despite ending their highly controversial relationship permanently in 2013, this duo successfully coparented their now-adolescent child Leah over the ensuing years.

In an interview with TopMob News in January 2022, Amber shared, “We enjoy each other’s company from afar, yet our bond remains strong. In essence, we’ve turned our connection into something akin to a family, prioritizing its values over anything else.

It’s true that families occasionally have disagreements. However, based on her recent social media posts, it seems that Amber and Gary might not be getting along so well as exes anymore.

Following numerous years as a couple, a proposal followed by an attempt on the reality show “Marriage Boot Camp” that didn’t work out, Amber and Matt Baier, who hails from Boston, ended their engagement in 2017.

On Dr. Drew Pinsky’s podcast, Amber admitted that at some point, she stopped taking in what was being said and began to feel indifferent towards the relationship. She believes this is when things started going wrong for her and her partner. Essentially, she built a wall to protect herself from potential pain in the future.

During her time filming “Marriage Boot Camp,” Amber developed feelings for crew member Andrew Glennon. They officially became a couple at the 2017 MTV Movie Awards and welcomed their first child, James, in May 2018.

However, following Amber’s arrest for domestic battery in July 2019, the couple didn’t stay together for long. After a tough legal fight, California-born Andrew was granted full legal rights and primary physical care of their child in 2022.

The reality TV personality expressed to TopMob News that they’ve put in tremendous effort to enhance their personal growth and strengthen their bonds with their children. They emphasized that although they’ve been open about their past struggles with substance abuse and mental health issues, everyone deserves a chance to make amends and move past their past problems.

Persevering without backing down, she stated, “Even if your path hasn’t been flawless, but you’ve striven diligently to improve, grow into a stronger, steadier, and compassionate person today, continue onward as I do. I’ll never cease in my struggle for the children whom I cherish above all else.

Following an online encounter with Amber, Dimitri Garcia first appeared on “Teen Mom OG” in April 2020. On the program, Amber mentioned, “Dimitri is from Belgium, he’s 39 years old, making him a decade older than me. However, he’s quite an attractive man.” She continued by saying, “As we grew closer, we both felt it was best to meet each other since we have a mutual liking for one another.

In April 2021, Amber openly stated on the Teen Mom OG reunion special that she was still in a relationship with Dimitri. She clarified that they’ve known each other for about 18 months, but she hadn’t seen him for a year. Despite not making an official announcement, there were hints of a possible separation as Amber introduced her new boyfriend, Gary Wayt, on a June 2024 episode of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter.

After Amber linked up with Gary 2.0 on a dating app in autumn 2023, he appeared on-screen as she presented him to her fellow cast members during a video call. (The “Teen Mom” alum introduced him.)

Despite his proposal in May 2024, their relationship didn’t last long. During his stay in North Carolina for Amber’s brother’s wedding in June, there was a disagreement between them which led Gary to disappear. Consequently, Amber reported him as missing.

And while Gary was soon located, the duo’s engagment wasn’t the only thing left broken.

Amber shared in an episode of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, “For about three to four days, I was under the assumption that my fiancé had passed away. During that time, I had to cope with the loss and struggle to comprehend why someone would do such a thing to me. Currently, I’m experiencing some challenging circumstances.

She went on to say, “This man shattered me. I had been steady. For the first time in years, I’m not functioning at my best due to a man proposing to me with a ring.

Several months passed following the arrival of their daughter Emilee in April 2015, and subsequently, Gary married his wife Kristina Anderson in a charming beach wedding ceremony.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d say: “In my book, you’re one of the kindest spirits I’ve come across. I can’t imagine navigating life without your presence by my side.” (Gary wrote in a 2022 Instagram post)

In December 2008, two months before she was born, the father of Farrah Abraham’s daughter Sophia unfortunately passed away in a tragic accident.

In a significant change from her life following the demise of her high school sweetheart, Farrah had an on-again, off-again relationship with Simon Saran, who works in real estate, that lasted more than two years.

Despite their bitter separation in 2017, reminiscent of a cease-and-desist level rift, they made an effort to maintain some form of friendship, albeit tentatively so.

Simon expressed to TopMob News that he harbored no ill will towards Farrah. He explained that they come from distinct spheres and that she prefers a fabricated lifestyle, while he seeks authenticity. Despite their differences, he expressed his hope for her prosperity in all her future ventures.

Jenelle Evans and Andrew Lewis, the parents of now-adolescent Jace, separated shortly after his birth in 2009, with Jenelle having minimal interaction in her son’s life since then.

In that 2019 episode of Teen Mom 2, Jenelle mused about Jace’s father. She felt a sense of sadness, considering he was the child’s dad. However, she acknowledged his character and expressed her concern that he might let down her son. She didn’t want him to reappear only to disappear again.

After spending a year married to Courtland Rogers and giving birth to her second child, Kaiser, with ex-boyfriend Nathan Griffin in 2014, Jenelle then married David Eason on their North Carolina property in September 2017. This was eight months after they had welcomed their daughter, Ensley, into their family.

Following a difficult period, David was accused of a minor child abuse offense involving Jace. At the time, Jenelle referred to it as a “defamatory campaign”. Later on, Jenelle disclosed that they had split up. She mentioned on social media that she would have immediately filed for divorce, but due to North Carolina law, you must be legally separated for a year before doing so. Additionally, you need to prove that you have two different residences.

Recollect the charming individual who once inquired from his ex-girlfriend, Chelsea Houska, about the timing of “finalizing the documents regarding that error”?

Completely in the rearview.

Despite the challenging history, the former Teen Mom star and now HGTV personality appears to maintain a generally peaceful relationship with her high school ex, Adam Lind, who is Aubree’s father. As she explained to Us Weekly, “There are no negative vibes, it’s just an open relationship.” She added, “There are no lingering bad feelings between us. We occasionally meet up and everything goes smoothly.

In 2014, Chelsea and Cole DeBoer had an adorable chance encounter at a gas station, which later developed into an unbreakable bond when they got married in October 2016. Since then, their family has grown with the birth of their son Watson in 2017 and daughters Layne and Walker in 2018 and 2021. The couple recently embarked on a new venture together: Their HGTV series, titled Down Home Fab.

Speaking with TopMob News, Chelsea expressed her desire for their return to TV. She wanted it to be a fun and uplifting show where they could genuinely express themselves. In her own words, this decision felt perfectly suited to the situation, as she described it as an “awesome chance” to do so.

Initially, Leah Messer and Corey Simms tried to transform their friendship into a lifelong union, but they ended up filing for divorce just six months following their October 2010 wedding. The couple who raised the teenage twins, Aleeah and Aliannah, made this decision.

Corey has been married to Miranda Patterson since 2013.

In the year 2012, Leah got married to Jeremy Calvert, and in the following year, they became parents to a girl named Adalynn.

Despite splitting up in 2015, they have strived diligently to co-parent their daughter, with outcomes that can sometimes be less than ideal. Leah shared with TopMob News, “I’m witnessing the best version of myself,” she said. “Watching what they adore and relish in life, and having the opportunity to nurture them and be involved in their journey is enchanting. I adore it. I love being a mother, particularly for my daughters.

By the year 2021, when Leah made their relationship Instagram official with Jaylan Mobley, this U.S. Army officer had already won over both Leah and her children with his charm.

The couple announced their engagement in August 2022, but broke up that October.

Reflecting on it now, a year since the split, I must admit that breakup was necessary for me. It served as a catalyst for growth and self-discovery, teaching me valuable lessons I wouldn’t have learned otherwise. Looking ahead, I’m excited to say that I feel my life is just starting anew, brimming with fresh possibilities and opportunities.

At the tender age of seventeen, Kailyn Lowry had her first child, Isaac, with her high school sweetheart Jo Rivera, in the year 2010.

Though they separated a year ago, they have now established an amicable co-parenting setup. Interestingly, Kailyn hosts her discontinued “Baby Mamas No Drama” podcast with Jo’s wife, Vee Torres, after their wedding in 2018. As Kailyn wrote on social media, “We’ve come a long way from being 18 years old. I couldn’t ask for a better stepmother for Isaac.

In November 2013, Kailyn’s second child, Lincoln, became part of the team. This was approximately a year after she married Lincoln’s father, Javi Marroquin, who was then a prominent figure on the show Teen Mom 2.

In late 2016, their relationship had its ups and downs, with Javi and partner Lauren Comeau (who already have a son named Eli) announcing in December 2023 that they were expecting their second child, a daughter.

As a lifestyle guide, I’ve been following Kailyn Lowry’s journey closely, and I must say, her life has taken an exciting turn with the arrival of sons Lux and Creed, whom she had with her partner Chris Lopez amid their rollercoaster relationship. However, after much ups and downs, they’ve decided to part ways permanently.

She shared with TopMob News in 2020 that there is no communication currently between us. However, I’m keeping my fingers crossed for improvement over time. I don’t have a grand plan or vision. I just want to express that I don’t have any negative sentiments. I hope and pray that things will sort themselves out for the sake of our children, regardless of which way they go.

With her current partner, Elijah Scott, Kailyn now experiences a robust support system. As she shared with People magazine, Elijah stands out from her past partners and the fathers of her children. “He’s unlike anyone I’ve been with before,” she said about Elijah, who is father to her son Rio and twins Verse and Valley. “He works hard on construction sites, getting his hands dirty. Yet, he’s also deeply committed to family life. He has strong bonds with his own family as well as ours, making him an exceptional partner for me. I feel we are a well-matched pair.

A strong enough one that she finally said yes to one of his many proposals, in fact.

In a conversation with TopMob News in September 2024, Kailyn made it clear that her longtime neighbor and future spouse had repeatedly proposed to her, yet she hadn’t explicitly refused him. Instead, she explained, “I simply responded with ‘Yes,’ but added ‘Not just yet.’

Though she admitted that the construction worker had significantly influenced her perspective on marriage, she’s not in any immediate hurry to purchase a wedding dress, joked Kailyn, adding, “Whether or not we get married soon is largely dependent on the mood I’m in when you ask me.

Despite experiencing numerous highs and lows since the birth of their daughter Kloie in 2017, Indiana residents Jade Cline and Sean Austin hinted to followers in January 2022 that they were experiencing a period of growth and improvement.

She shared with TopMob News that significant events occurred in our lives, along with remarkable enhancements in Sean’s life and his future prospects. I am incredibly proud of him and where we find ourselves now. Eight months after this revelation, the couple officially announced their engagement, tying the knot in October 2023.

In 2024, Jade shared with TopMob News that her relationship isn’t flawless all the time. However, she emphasized that their love for one another keeps them going, and they manage to make things function smoothly.

Ashley Jones, a native of California, and Bar Smith, also hailing from the Golden State, secretly tied the knot in the year 2021. This was four years after they became parents to their beautiful daughter, Holly.

But after calling off their romance several times, Ashley officially filed for divorce in 2024.

A while after “16 and Pregnant” star Briana DeJesus and Devoin Austin II had their daughter Nova in 2011, they contemplated rekindling their relationship.

As we move forward in time, let me share my personal preference with you: I am yearning for a genuine partner, someone who embodies true masculinity, as opposed to the young men I’ve been accustomed to dating in the past.

Following her appearance on the solitary season of Teen Mom 3, Briana became a cast member on Teen Mom 2 during its eighth season. In July 2017, she welcomed her second daughter, Stella, with former boyfriend Luis Miguel.

Since then, Luis has only occasionally been involved. As Briana put it during a December 2019 episode of Teen Mom 2, “I believe he desires a family with me,” but since I’m not ready for that, he seems content on staying distant altogether.
