Consequently, it can be classified as a Fossilized enemy.

Considering the situation, it’s advisable to arm yourself with any type of weapon that has a Fire element, for instance, a Salamander Dagger Blade. If you don’t have an elemental weapon, you can opt for a regular one and enhance its power using Flame Grindstone or Fire Abrasive consumables instead.

Regarding useful items, Fire Canisters and Thermite can be quite beneficial in this battle. Go ahead and throw them at the Tyrannical Predator to maintain your attack power from a distance. They also inflict decent damage independently.

Its grab attack is limited, except for when it lunges at you with its jaws wide open, in which case it can’t be blocked, if you happen to step too far away. Essentially, it only has one type of grab attack.

Given the situation, it’s advisable to prioritize swift weapons since they allow for quick strikes which are often hard to come by during combat with limited opportunities.

If your Puppet String has been completely updated, it’s advisable to use it in conjunction with your Flamberge. The Attack Link of Puppet String III can be quite effective at staggering the crocodile effectively.

Additionally, after the crocodile has been subdued, consider employing Fire-based weapons to trigger the Overheat effect prior to delivering the Final Blow. If you have the ammo, this could be an ideal moment to inflict damage with the Flamberge!
