UK Sales Charts: Hogwarts Legacy Leads 2025’s First Top 10 Filled with Old Favourites

The UK’s first physical games chart of 2025 is in, and there aren’t many 2024 games in the top 10.

1st place goes to Hogwarts Legacy, a game that has climbed the charts an impressive 100 times since its launch. Coming in at number 2 is EA Sports FC, while the highly acclaimed 2022 release, Elden Ring, has made a surprising move into 3rd place.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has dropped to its fourth spot, marking the lowest ranking it’s held in quite a while, or perhaps even since its debut.

In the middle of the top ten listings, you’ll find a common grouping of Nintendo games. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate has managed to move up a few spots, landing at number eight. Meanwhile, the Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition continues to hold its ground in ninth position.

It appears that several classic games dominating the top 10 charts might be due to January sales. However, even within these sales, the same popular games keep reappearing in high rankings.
