Ultimate Sabretooth Unveiled: Not Your Average Wolverine Nemesis!

In the upcoming series of “Ultimate Wolverine”, Sabretooth, Logan’s age-old adversary, will make his entrance into the Ultimate Universe. This universe has already redefined our perspectives on several X-Men characters, such as Colossus and Magik who are portrayed as villains, working alongside Omega Red in the Eurasian Republic of Rasputingrad. They are members of The Maker’s evil council and have manipulated Wolverine into serving them as their version of the Winter Soldier. With Marvel’s new Ultimate Universe, one can never predict exactly who a character will be. This certainly applies to Ultimate Sabretooth, and fans will get a chance to see how drastically different he is compared to Wolverine.

In a recent development, Marvel has unveiled a sneak peek at issue #5 of Ultimate Wolverine, penned by Chris Condon, Alex Lins, Bryan Valenza, and VC’s Cory Petit. The story kicks off in Rasputingrad, where the local tavern owner is bidding his patrons goodnight. Among them, a customer who goes by “Mister Big Man” hints at being Sabretooth, as evidenced by his long claws when securing the entrance. As the night wears on and Sabretooth tidies up the bar, he summons two mutants concealed beneath the floorboards – Leech and Artie.

A chauffeur is on the way to collect Artie and Leech, intending to take them to a secure location. Meanwhile, Sabretooth has prepared sustenance for their journey, which includes a special Shirley Temple drink as a token of appreciation for listening to his tales. Artie, employing his mutant abilities, induces a recollection of Sabretooth and Logan battling together in the past, hinting at the deep-rooted history between these two characters – a history that extends even into the Ultimate Universe.

In the concluding scene of issue #5 of “Ultimate Wolverine”, Sabretooth is seen taking out the trash and noticing a plane passing by. Whether he’s experiencing a flashback triggered by the plane, sensing someone nearby, or both, remains unclear. Despite being seemingly gentler in this universe compared to his main Marvel Universe counterpart, Sabretooth still ranks among the X-Men’s most brutal and bloodthirsty villains. The upcoming portrayal of him in “Ultimate Wolverine” promises an intriguing take on this complex character.

In the scene, the formidable Sabretooth makes his entrance! The secrets hidden in Ultimate Wolverine’s history come to light as a familiar figure steps into the battle! This describes the plot of Ultimate Wolverine #5.

In the last edition of ‘Ultimate Wolverine’, it was disclosed that three high-tier mutants, including Professor X, Jean Grey, and Magneto, had met their ends. Now, it seems that Jean Grey is the sole Omega-level mutant left in the Ultimate Universe. However, instead of freedom, she’s being exploited by the Eurasian Republic, being turned into a weapon.

After Professor X’s demise, his brain was extracted and used to keep Jean under constant sedation and control due to her powerful mutant abilities and potential alien influence, such as the Phoenix Force. The brain of Professor X serves multiple purposes: it calms, guides, and intensifies the powers of the Phoenix entity within Jean by sending specific electrical signals.

In essence, Directorate X manipulates Jean Grey, who then controls designated subjects like Ultimate Wolverine. Additionally, a device known as the Cerebellum enhances these abilities further.
