Ultimate Spider-Man #9 First Look: Black Cat Crosses Spidey's Path

As a lifelong comic book enthusiast who’s seen more than my fair share of Spider-Man stories, I must say that the upcoming arc featuring Black Cat is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing yet! The Sinister Six have always been a formidable foe for our friendly neighborhood wall-crawler, and the addition of Black Cat as their leader from the Bronx adds a fresh twist to this classic rogues gallery.

As a dedicated fan, I can’t help but express my excitement over diving into August’s issue #8 of “Ultimate Spider-Man” by Jonathan Hickman and Marco Checchetto! This comic brings together the rulers of New York City’s territories: Kingpin (Manhattan), Mr. Negative (Queens), Mysterio (Brooklyn), Kraven the Hunter (Staten Island), Mole Man (the Underground), and none other than the Black Cat (representing the Bronx)!

In the upcoming issue #9 of Ultimate Spider-Man, the ominous group known as the Sinister Six will launch their initial assault. This confrontation sees Peter Parker and Harry Osborn going head-to-head with Walter Hardy, a notorious burglar famously known as the Black Cat, who has never been caught. After amassing a fortune as the world’s top floor-burglar, Hardy utilized his wealth to secure his dominion in the Bronx and establish a family. Unfortunately, his wife passed away, but his daughter (possibly Felicia Hardy) is expected to carry on her father’s legacy when she encounters Spider-Man in the November issue #11.

As a long-time comic book fan and collector, I can’t wait to share my thoughts on the interior artwork for issue #9, which is set to hit stands on September 25th. Having followed this series from its inception, I’ve become accustomed to the unique style and attention to detail that sets it apart. But even with those high expectations, I must say that this latest installment has exceeded them all. The artist has captured the essence of each character perfectly, creating a dynamic and immersive world that truly brings the story to life. Whether you’re a newcomer or a long-time fan, I urge you to take a look at this incredible artwork before issue #9 hits stands on September 25th. Trust me; it’s worth the wait!
