Ultimatum Queer Love: AJ Claps Back on Claim She Played Multiple Women

AJ is sharing her P.O.V.

Following the allegations by Bridget, her costar in “Ultimatum: Queer Love,” that AJ was leading her on and also making similar accusations against cast members Marita and Marie before choosing a trial wife, the main character addressed the misunderstanding regarding their dating methods during season two of the Netflix series, which debuted on June 25.

AJ shared with TopMob News’ Francesca Amiker that the intimate discussions he had with many of the women present, unfortunately, didn’t become visible to others. He explained that since everyone was single, it could be easy to become engrossed or confused at times.

Instead, it’s worth noting that AJ initially believed she had a whole week to go on dates with her ten fellow cast members in an attempt to select a potential spouse for the trial. However, as she shared, her dating journey got truncated prematurely.

The 28-year-old explained, “I didn’t know about the tight deadline. I thought our relationship had only been going on for a week, but it turns out it was just a few days, so I didn’t realize we were running short on time and needed to make quicker decisions.

That’s why AJ appeared to still be exploring connections with three women up until The Choice.

If I had realized how much time our relationship would last, I would have acted more decisively and promptly, asking more questions to avoid the uncertainty that I likely felt.

However, it’s important to note that AJ didn’t express regret about choosing Marie as her trial wife in the long run. Instead, she shared that she believed she had chosen wisely.

In response to TopMob’s question, AJ admitted, “Indeed, at that moment, I made a choice, and looking back, it was pivotal for shaping the course of my life. To put it frankly, yes, I believe I made the correct decision.

Although Yoly developed feelings for Xander over the course of their three-week encounter, Mal remained steadfast in their loyalty.

You’ve always been the one for me,” Mal confessed to Yoly, as he knelt down. “Would you spend your days with me? Will you become my wife?” Pausing momentarily, Yoly replied affirmatively, teasingly adding, “Why did it take you so long?

Yet, Yoly harbored uncertainties about her decision. She confessed, “Should Xander stand up for me, I am unsure of the words I would use.

During the experiment, Yoly and Mal appeared to be continuing their work, but during their reunion, it was disclosed that they were no longer together amicably, despite having a disagreement about the precise moment when their relationship ended.

As the recording ended, I had a nagging concern that we might revert to our old habits, which I was all too familiar with. Unfortunately, my fears proved true – we grew distant for a while. During that separation, she expressed her doubts about our relationship, “It doesn’t seem like it will work out,” she said. In response, I chose not to argue or resist the change.

After observing the show and noticing Yoly’s interactions with Xander, Mal now sees their relationship from an entirely new perspective. She expressed her feelings by saying, “You seem like a deceitful outsider to me,” indicating that she had once trusted him deeply, but he ended up humiliating her instead.

As of June 2025, Mal is dating NYC dancer Sammy Picone.

Xander and Vanessa decided to call off their four-year long relationship, as Xander found himself having feelings for Yoly while they were in a trial marriage together.

Xander said to Vanessa, “I truly wish I could provide you with everything the world has to offer.” He had believed he could do so, but alas, he realized that what he can presently give falls short of what she truly deserves.

During their conversation, there was mention of a potential renewal of things later on. However, it was disclosed during the reunion that they hadn’t exchanged words since the encounter concluded, Vanessa being the one to share this fact.

Following Yoly’s engagement to Mal and Xander’s split from Vanessa, the pair shared a heartfelt discussion, openly expressing their affection towards each other.

Yoly explained to Xander, “I don’t want to part ways with you,” rather than letting you go. “It’s not about my feelings for you lessening. It’s not because I care any less.

As it transpired, the feelings they had for each other persisted; this was evident when they admitted during their reunion that they had attempted to reignite their relationship once Yoly’s engagement concluded.

Xander mentioned that they kept in touch somewhat, and they ran into each other during Coachella. However, they both claimed nothing of a physical nature transpired at the music festival. Later on, it was disclosed that Yoly was arranging a visit to Xander in Hawaii. As for Yoly, she expressed enjoyment in her time with Xander and hoped to rekindle their relationship and make every effort to do so.

Ultimately, they went their separate ways.

Xander explained, “For a while, we walked parallel paths, but now we’re each going our separate ways again. I felt it was important to invest time in myself, understand what I needed to change to improve my life, and ultimately, be a better person for myself and any future relationships.

It turned out that Rae had a physical relationship with Vanessa during their trial marriage, leaving Lexi heartbroken. However, despite this setback, they managed to reconcile and both decided to propose to each other in the final episode. In an exciting twist, they announced that they were planning to relocate to Philadelphia together, as Rae had secured a new job there.

During the reunion, the pair confirmed that they are still engaged.

Looking back on the past year, Lexi exclaimed that it had been extraordinary. With a proposal, vacations, and returning to California just a few months ago, she confidently declared it as the most exceptional year she’s ever experienced.

Lexi and Rae were overjoyed to such an extent that Lexi proposed to marry at the reunion if Rae agreed. Host JoAnna Garcia Swisher then mentioned casually that she is an ordained minister, leading up to Lexi’s revelation of their already set wedding date.

After the show concluded, there was an unexpected announcement on a title card: “Following the taping of the reunion, Lexi and Rae decided to part ways in their relationship. Consequently, their wedding has been canceled.

Lexi has been dating musician ZANC since June 2023.

In the finale, after they got engaged, Mildred said to Tiff, “We’re quite eccentric,” but then added, “But it’s our eccentricity that binds us together.” However, during their reunion, Mildred had a completely different outlook: “Now, we don’t even communicate with each other.

So what happened?

After moving in together following their engagement, they quickly fell back into their previous habits, as Mildred admitted there were no concrete plans for the future, and discussions about marriage were fraught with issues.

However, when Mildred expressed leaving Tiff as “one of the toughest choices I’ve ever had to make”, Tiff retorted by stating that it was actually her decision to end their engagement. ” frankly, I felt like we were in an unhealthy relationship, straining our bond,” Tiff admitted.

Subsequently, Mildred confessed that she had been apprehended for hurling a pet gate at Tiffany, who subsequently contacted the police. “They removed my engagement ring during the arrest and I haven’t worn it since,” she admitted. “I am not proud of my actions, but there was a great deal of conflict.

After getting into a heated argument, Tiff walked off the set and chose not to return.

At first, Aussie puzzled Sam with a heart-shaped stone, then he revealed an entirely distinct rock for a proposal.

Initially showing Sam a heart-shaped stone that left him bewildered, Aussie subsequently unfolded a completely different kind of stone for the purpose of proposing.

At the gathering, we affirmed that our engagement is still intact, yet we’re taking our time before diving headfirst into the wedding planning whirlwind.

Sam remarked, “We’re sort of in a holding pattern.” He added, “It felt like expressing this situation to others was challenging, as it seemed quite uncomfortable.

As of June 2025, my partner and I were very much a duo, though I chose to keep personal matters like our marital status private, explaining on Instagram, “I prefer not to discuss this topic because the truth is, it makes little difference if you are aware or not.
