Ever since that mind-blowing announcement trailer for Unbeatable, I’ve been chomping at the bit to get my hands on more. And now, it seems my wish has been granted – there’s a playable demo available!
Indeed, the latest video preview confirms that a complimentary demonstration of this chic rhythm-action game can be downloaded and played on your PlayStation 5 from the PlayStation Store.
For those not familiar, Unbeatable is a rhythm-based game set in a world where music is outlawed, and you join an underground musical group evading authorities.
Drawing inspiration from anime, the game’s storyline mode immerses you in a vast, open environment teeming with characters, striking backdrops, a wealth of unique music compositions, and numerous rhythm-based mini-games to master.

Additionally, the aforementioned preview discloses that Unbeatable will feature an Arcade mode. This mode enables players to engage in a series of musical challenges based on the game’s soundtrack, distinct from the narrative mode, where they can progress song by song and unlock new content.
You know what, here’s the announcement trailer again, just because we like it so much:
There’s still no firm date on this game, but it’s planned for release sometime in 2025.
