Path Games, the creators behind Insomnis, have unveiled their latest project – Dark Mass, a chilling psychological horror game entirely immersed within an underwater manor submerged completely. It is scheduled to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam in autumn of 2026.

A haunted past buried beneath the waves
In the game titled “Dark Mass“, players assume the character of Alice, a seasoned deep-sea explorer. Together with her brother Reed, she discovers the remnants of an old shipwreck. However, concealed beneath it is something much more ominous – a manor that has seemingly been abandoned by time, remaining undisturbed even though it’s spent centuries submerged in the ocean depths.
Inside the manor, Alice quickly discovers she isn’t the only occupant. A presence lurks in the shadows. Caught amidst the crumbling corridors, she embarks on a journey to decipher the manor’s secrets, solve eerie riddles tied to ancient rituals, and confront the terrifying reality that ties her to this haunting location.
