The game titled “Sonic Rumble” is set to arrive on mobile devices and personal computers later this year, however, the official launch date has yet to be announced. At present, Sega is inviting enthusiasts to pre-register for the game, and rewarding early registrants with several enticing benefits. As the game reaches certain milestones, all registered users will receive complimentary in-game items. So far, two rewards have been activated: 5,000 Rings and a Happy Chao sticker, which were unlocked at 200,000 and 400,000 pre-registrations respectively. There are still three additional incentives to be unveiled, such as a Crystal Chao companion and a Garnet Knuckles skin.
The best bonus of all, the fifth one, is undoubtedly the most appealing. Although the Sonic Rumble website doesn’t specify the exact number of pre-registrations needed for the last three rewards, it seems reasonable to estimate that around 600,000 registrations are required for Crystal Chao, and approximately 800,000 for Garnet Knuckles. This implies that a whopping 1 million pre-registrations are necessary for the final reward: a skin inspired by Sonic’s movie appearances!
In contrast to the conventional Sonic character design, the Movie Sonic’s appearance is more intricate, especially in its fur texture. The standard Sonic video game model appears sleeker, making it simple to distinguish between them. This additional Movie Sonic skin could be an exciting addition for fans of the Paramount movies. To access this free skin, pre-register for Sonic Rumble on the game’s official website if you haven’t already done so.
Last year saw the unveiling of “Sonic Rumble”, a revelation that followed several online leaks. Unlike its predecessors, this game is a battle royale style, allowing up to 32 players to compete online. In “Sonic Rumble”, players don’t directly control Sonic and his pals; instead, they assume the roles of toy renditions of these beloved characters, all inhabiting a world fabricated by Dr. Robotnik. This peculiar setting allows for multiple instances of these characters coexisting and competing against each other. To date, several characters from across the Sonic universe have been confirmed for the game, including Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, Amy, Shadow, Cream, and more.
In this game you can play for free, it will offer customization features, such as cosmetic items. The 5,000 Rings given out during pre-registration are intended to assist with these customizations. At the moment, the game Sonic Rumble has not been confirmed for consoles, but players are eagerly anticipating its potential release on systems like Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox. Historically, Sonic’s mobile games have only been accessible on iOS and Android devices. However, since Sonic Rumble is being released on Steam, there’s a possibility that it could expand to other platforms if it proves successful.
