Xbox Game Studios, the renowned video game publisher, is bringing Age of Mythology: Retold to PS5 on March 4th. Originally developed by Ensemble Studios (creators of Age of Empires series and Halo Wars) in 2002, this classic strategy game has been revitalized with a remastered version by World’s Edge and Forgotten Empires in 2020.
Age of Mythology is an engaging real-time strategy game that blends town-construction, resource management, and tactical battles with a touch of fantasy. Players take control of one of four unique factions, each offering distinct playstyles and strategies. The game features myths and legends from different cultures such as the Greeks, Egyptians, Norse, and Atlanteans. However, the Tale of the Dragon expansion that includes the Chinese pantheon will be available as additional content after the launch.
On the PlayStation Store, pre-orders are now available. If you’re keen, you can spend a bit more to gain early access five days ahead of others, along with additional perks such as expansion access and digital cosmetics.
