In just a few short weeks, we’ll be seeing ‘The Minecraft Movie’ hit the screens, and Mojang Studios and Xbox Game Studios are going all out with their in-game collaborations and external partnerships to promote this exciting new release.
McDonald’s has just revealed plans to introduce a fresh wave of ‘McDonald’s Minecraft Movie’ themed Happy Meals across more than 100 countries. This exciting launch will be accompanied by an array of new toys and the unique “Nether” sauce, which will only be available with these meals.
When and where can I get the ‘A Minecraft Movie’ Happy Meals at McDonald’s?
Starting from April 1, 2025, McDonald’s in more than a hundred markets worldwide will offer ‘A Minecraft Movie’ Happy Meals. Please verify with your local restaurants to confirm availability. Contrary to popular belief, this is not an April Fool’s Day prank.
It isn’t certain if each Happy Meal comes with unique boxes, but it appears that we’ll receive a total of 12 collectible items. Among these, there will be six mini cubes modeled after in-game Minecraft blocks (such as diamonds and pink wool), featuring characters from ‘A Minecraft Movie’ and internal stickers. Additionally, six toys representing various Minecraft creatures like the Bee, Creeper, Wolf, and others will also be included.
With every Happy Meal purchased, you’ll receive one out of six collectible trading cards that come with an in-game code for unlocking a character skin within Minecraft.
Enthusiastic Minecraft devotees have the opportunity to amass all the toys and join them in a unique, online game found at HappyMeal.com. This game allows participants to experience their very own ‘A Minecraft Movie’ journey.
In the end, it’s clear that McDonald’s will introduce a new “Nether” dipping sauce on the same day, and I suspect it will be spicy, though we’ll need to taste it ourselves to confirm.
