In Monster Hunter Worlds, having an Aqua Sac is crucial because it allows for crafting potent early-game weapons and armor. Here’s a simple guide on how to efficiently gather this item and the monsters that drop it:

1. Identify the monsters that drop Aqua Sacs: These include Jyuratodus, Anjanath, Barroth, and Tobi-Kadachi.
2. Hunt these monsters: Engage in battles with them to increase your chances of obtaining an Aqua Sac.
3. Farm efficiently: Focus on hunting the easier monsters like Tobi-Kadachi first as they are more common and require fewer resources to hunt. Once you’ve stocked up on Aqua Sacs, move on to the harder monsters for even larger quantities.

Regardless if you aim to craft the Guild Knight Sabers or the Balahara armor suite, it’s essential to gather lots of Aqua Sacs. This is crucial because possessing top-tier weapons from Monster Hunter Wilds can significantly decrease your hunting time.

The rare material called Low Rank comes from two colossal creatures famous for their water-inflicting assaults, which cause a severe illness known as waterblight – this condition slows down your stamina regeneration. If you’re planning to craft a Long Sword or simply desire new armor pieces, this is the optimal method to gather Aqua Sacs.

Where to get Aqua Sac 

You can obtain Aqua Sacs when you defeat Low Rank Balahara and Uth Duna, but it’s worth noting that the Aqua Sac drops approximately 18% of the time when defeating Balahara.

To farm Aqua Sacs, simply make your way to the base camp tent and choose the “Sand Sea Surges” quest. However, please remember that you must have reached Hunter Rank 2 prior to being able to undertake this quest.

The Aqua Sac can primarily be obtained through combat with Uth Duna, who carries a 16% chance of dropping this rare material. If you’re interested in crafting Uth Duna’s armor or water-type weapons, we suggest focusing on farming the Veild during the Tied quest as an alternative method.

The Bow (Uth Khviluk I) and Long Sword (Uth Khlunda I) are exceptionally effective at delivering strong water attacks. Given their power, these water weapons become invaluable assets when hunting for and vanquishing fire-based creatures like Black Flame (Nu Udra) and other fire-type monsters.

In other words, since Balahara and Uth Duna are vulnerable to Thunder-based attacks, using Rey Dau (once available) will significantly reduce the time needed for defeating them. In the meantime, it’s advisable to utilize weapons that have a high raw damage output.
