At the start of “Blades of Fire“, you’ll meet a puzzling Blue Lady who vanishes as you get near, creating curiosity about her identity and how to communicate with her. This enigmatic figure will recur several times in your adventure, but the riddle persists each time. Characters Aran and Adso also grapple with her identity, yet for now, there’s no solution available. The Blue Lady plays a significant role in “Blades of Fire“, and later in the game, you’ll have the chance to interact with her. For now, your focus is on Aran’s journey and moving towards Kar-Lethel Swamp.

To engage in conversation with the ‘Blue Lady’ within ‘Blades of Fire’, it’s essential to obtain the ‘Runes Medallion’ first. This action not only opens dialogue with her but also enables you to receive the ‘Time Rune’ from her. Once Aran has this, he can interact with Time Runes scattered across the game world. The ‘Blue Lady’ is the protector of the ‘Time Rune’, one of the ‘Three Runes of Steel’. She will only bestow her gift if you manage to win her trust by overcoming the Queen’s troops.

In this scenario, Glinda hands over the Runes Medallion to Aran, enabling him to communicate with the Blue Lady. Initially, upon meeting her in her colossal beetle dwelling, she scurries away. To locate her, Aran must track her through the marshland until he discovers where she has hidden herself. Once he arrives at the Red Fort, he can interact with her again. On this occasion, the Blue Lady will pass on the Runes Medallion to him.

Holding the Runes Medallion, you’re now capable of communicating with the Blue Lady and acquiring the Time Rune. Utilize this rune to advance in your quest by activating Time Runes scattered throughout the land. This will help restore the world to its original state, enabling you to fix broken bridges, demolish walls, and perform numerous other tasks.

Apart from this, it also infuses your weapons with the Time Symbol, enabling you to attack ethereal adversaries. These entities are invulnerable unless wielding the Time Symbol, and only one weapon receives the Time Symbol when engaging with the Blue Lady; however, you can locate her at various points across the world once you possess the Runes Medallion. Simply follow the icons on your map that indicate her presence.

In the game ‘Blades of Fire’, the Time Rune is just one among several runes. During your adventure, you’ll stumble upon two more runes as well. Even though you meet these in the initial stages, you won’t be able to engage with them right away. Fortunately, there are markers on your map that will guide you back later when you’re ready.
