Until Dawn Movie Has Begun Filming

Ah, the news of the Until Dawn movie adaptation has me as giddy as a schoolboy with a brand new PlayStation controller! As someone who’s spent countless hours navigating the perilous mountains of Blackwood Pines, I can only imagine the thrill of seeing my favorite characters leap from the screen to the silver screen.

Sony shared news earlier this year that they’ve started work on a film based on the highly praised horror-adventure game “Until Dawn,” developed by Supermassive Games and released by PlayStation in 2015. Recently, an update was given about the movie’s production, suggesting it’s moving along nicely.

Hey there, gaming enthusiasts! Guess what? I’ve got some exciting news straight from Asad Qizilbash, the big boss at PlayStation Productions. He just announced on Twitter that the cameras have started rolling for the movie adaptation of Until Dawn, a project we’re jointly producing with Screen Gems. Can’t wait to see this horror thriller unfold on the big screen!

Previously confirmed: David F. Sandberg, known for “Shazam!” and “Lights Out”, is directing “Until Dawn”. The cast includes Maia Mitchell, Belmont Cameli, Ella Rubin, Michael Cimino, Ji-young Yoo, Odessa A’zion, and Peter Stormare reprises his role as the mysterious Dr. Hill from the game.

A remaster of Until Dawn will also release for PS5 and PC this fall.

And so it begins. @CarterSwan @SonyPictures @PlayStation @Sony
