As a dedicated fan who has followed the Utawarerumono series since its early days, this delay news has left me with a mixed bag of emotions. On one hand, I understand that delays can often lead to polishing and improving the final product, which is always a good thing. On the other hand, waiting just a bit longer for the physical Switch release feels like an eternity!
The “Utawarerumono Trilogy Set” for Nintendo Switch by AQUAPLUS has been pushed back from its original Japanese release date of January 30, 2025 to February 27, 2025. This set includes the games “Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen”, “Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception”, and “Utawareremono: Mask of Truth”. The price remains at 14,080 yen.
Furthermore, all three releases of the titles initially planned for March 27, 2025, have been pushed back to April 24, 2025. These releases can be obtained in both physical and digital formats. On this very same day, the digital “Utawarerumono Trilogy Set” will also debut.
The trilogy titled “Utawarerumono” – comprising “Prelude to the Fallen,” “Mask of Deception,” and “Mask of Truth” – can be found on PlayStation 4, PS Vita, and PC via Steam worldwide. In Japan, “Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception” and “Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth” are also available for the PlayStation 3.
