Initially, Valorant was exclusively available on PC, but following a recent open beta launch, Riot Games has unexpectedly made the game accessible on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S platforms as well. This game is a free-to-play shooter, allowing players to dive right in once they’ve downloaded it and familiarized themselves with the controls. If you’re an Xbox user and have Xbox Game Pass, you’ll find some additional perks upon starting your gaming journey.

On Friday, Riot Games unexpectedly declared that the game Valorant was immediately accessible, although some whispers about a swift launch today somewhat undermined the unveiling beforehand. Nevertheless, it has been released, so if you have already tried it on PC and desired to play it somewhere else, it is now available.

This means that if you’re an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, you can enjoy additional benefits in Valorant such as extra Agents and immediate access to newly released Agents.

Previously, Riot stated that as you continue playing games, you’ll gain access to more features. However, if you possess Xbox Game Pass, all Agents will already be unlocked for you. Moreover, having Game Pass means that new Agents will automatically become accessible on their launch day, so you can immediately start playing them the moment they go live when we introduce our next Agent.

In Valorant, console and PC versions of the game are separate, meaning you won’t encounter mouse and keyboard users from PC in your matches.
