Vampire Diaries Stars Candice King and Steven Krueger Shock Fans with Surprise Engagement!

Actors Candice King and Steven Krueger, who shared the screen during the last season of “The Originals”, a spin-off from “The Vampire Diaries,” have announced their engagement.

Two weeks back, Steven Akruger presented me with the most wonderful gift by proposing marriage, which I accepted. He penned this heartfelt message on Instagram on May 14: “I am grateful for the opportunity to dance our way through life together.

Previously recognized as Candice Accola, she too posted snapshots from their engagement photography session. These images depicted her donning a white gown and a square-cut diamond engagement ring while herself and Steven, aged 35, indulged in cocktails at their beloved Nashville watering hole Martha My Dear.

On her 38th birthday, which fell on May 13, Candice penned down that this year could very well turn out to be her most cherished one so far.

In her words, “It’s a delightful advantage to grow older, given that I have the pleasure of doing so alongside you, Steven.

Needless to say, Candice’s former castmates were thrilled. 

In a heartfelt message, Nina Dobrev, former star of TVD and fiancée of Shaun White, congratulated someone in the comments. Michael Trevino, who portrayed Tyler Lockwood on the CW series, excitedly responded with “Woo Hoo!!!! Love IT!”.

Nearly two years after making their relationship Instagram official, it was almost two years ago when Candice and Steven did so, news of their engagement broke.
