Vanessa Hudgens is bringing sneaker night to the fans.
Following the arrival of their first child together with MLB player Cole Tucker in July 2024, the former High School Musical star has observed a significant transformation in her physical self – her feet have expanded by a full shoe size.
She clarified in a post on her Instagram Stories on March 19, as reported by Us Weekly, that while it’s common knowledge when you’re pregnant, your feet tend to swell up; what she didn’t realize is that sometimes this swelling can persist and your foot could even grow an entire size.
In response, she shared that it led to her needing to change her entire collection of shoes. To put it another way, the artist behind “Sneaker Night” disclosed this incident necessitated a replacement for all her footwear.
Regarding the fate of the shoes she’s parting ways with, the 36-year-old disclosed her intention to share this experience with her followers, stating, “I thought it might be quite engaging to let you all in on it.” She further explained that she collaborated with a platform named Placed to offer her shoes for sale to fans via a virtual wardrobe. This can be done both directly and through an auction-style method, beginning from March 21.
She announced that some of her cherished shoe pairs would be up for grabs during a 48-hour bidding event, and she couldn’t wait to discover their new owners!
Although Vanessa and Cole, aged 28, have managed to keep their baby away from the limelight ever since their arrival the previous summer, the actress occasionally allows fans a peek into her daily life as a new mother.
Indeed, last August, Vanessa posted a picture on Instagram featuring a “mama” necklace. The accompanying caption read, “I’m still around, but I’ve changed and grown.
Many members of the HSM family commented on the photo, congratulating the new mom.
In response to her post, friend Monique Coleman commented, “Mamaaaa,” while director Kenny Ortega exclaimed, “Baby V is now a Mother! Praise be!” Costar Bart Johnson added his joy, “I adore this so much.
Before Vanessa gave birth, her former boyfriend Zac Efron expressed only admiration as she and co-star Ashley Tisdale (who welcomed her second child, Emerson, with husband Christopher French, in September) were set to grow their own families.

On December 2, 2023, the couple officially got married in Tulum, Mexico. This intimate ceremony was graced by 100 guests, consisting mostly of family and close friends.
