Previously, a trailer emerged featuring Tom Hardy once again portraying both Eddie and Venom. This sneak peek also introduced new characters: Juno Temple as a scientist and Chiwetel Ejiofor as a soldier, both involved in symbiote research at the secretive Area 51 facility.
Additional cast members joining the series are Rhys Ifans, portraying Martin, a character with a fascination for aliens, whom Eddie and Venom encounter during their escape; and Andy Serkis lending his voice to Knull, the entity responsible for creating the symbiotes.
