The unconventional alliance between Eddie Brock and Carnage is already foreshadowing trouble for some of Marvel’s mightiest characters. Over the years, Eddie Brock has been associated with the Venom symbiote, while Carnage, Venom’s murderous progeny, originally bonded with serial killer Cletus Kasady. Recently, the roles have reversed, with Eddie now hosting Carnage instead of being the King in Black. To maintain control over Carnage, Eddie is forced to hunt down individuals for elimination, ranging from cosmic beings to street-level vigilantes. Title 1 of “Eddie Brock: Carnage” is penned by Charles Soule, Jesus Saiz, Matt Hollingsworth, and Joe Sabino from VC. The climax of “Venom War” left Eddie Brock and Carnage precariously close to death. To keep them alive, Eddie consented to bond with Carnage, but now he’s tied to a lethal machine that perpetually demands its bloodthirst be quenched. This is the narrative setup for “Eddie Brock: Carnage” #1 as Eddie and Carnage chase after a serial killer on an airplane.

Their hunt leads them to the Hopscotch Killer, but complications arise when they discover he’s the copilot of a plane.
I hope this version maintains the original’s clarity and natural flow while offering an engaging read!
Carnage turns Eddie Brock into a killer
In simpler terms, during a flight, Eddie Brock (alongside Carnage) slays the co-pilot in the cockpit. However, prior to this, the Hopscotch Killer had already disposed of the pilot and caused the plane to plummet towards the ground. Utilizing the powers of Carnage, Eddie creates wings for himself to flee the doomed aircraft. He then secures all the passengers in a net that trails behind him. As he escapes, Carnage expresses his dissatisfaction with saving lives. When Eddie regains consciousness at home, he’s puzzled about the gap in time from leaving the plane to waking up, and he demands that Carnage explain what happened to the passengers.
In a flamboyant blood-red attire, Carnage, posing as an elegant gent, remains silent to Eddie’s inquiries. A heated debate ensues about whether Eddie conceals a murderer’s heart before they shift focus towards their current objective: locating additional victims, but with a twist this time – these victims should possess powers. Given that Carnage is assessing potential hosts, it makes sense. When Eddie queries about Carnage’s targets, the scene unfolds to reveal a lineup of heroes and villains that Carnage has his eye on for recruitment.
Carnage wants to kill Galactus, Silver Surfer, Phoenix, and more
In his ambitious plans for characters to eliminate, Carnage aims high. Within Eddie Brock’s thoughts, where their conversation transpires, there’s a wall adorned with photos showcasing potential adversaries such as Galactus, Silver Surfer, Hela, Phoenix, Bullseye, and Elektra. This hints at the prospective guest stars readers might encounter in upcoming editions of “Eddie Brock: Carnage“.
Characters such as Galactus, Silver Surfer, Phoenix, and Hela are often classified as omega-level entities. Their exploits frequently transport them to the cosmos or realms like Asgard. On Earth, Carnage and Venom have historically been more active. However, Eddie Brock once held the title of King in Black, ruling over all symbiotes. Meanwhile, Carnage has been traversing the Marvel Universe, accumulating power, transforming the symbiote into a being resembling a deity. It appears Carnage enjoyed this newfound power and now seeks to expand it by defeating these powerful beings, both heroes and villains.
