Anticipation builds for Season 4 of Invincible following the thrilling Season 3 conclusion. Creator Robert Kirkman has hinted at what lies ahead in the upcoming season through a mysterious clue.
In the third season, I witnessed the conclusion of the Invincible War, where my man, Mark Grayson, played by Steven Yeun, triumphed over Conquest, portrayed by Jeffrey Dean Morgan. However, a sneaky post-credits scene unveiled the shocking comeback of Detective Damien Darkblood, played by none other than Clancy Brown.
It appears that, come the following season, they might be planning to depict the Viltrumite War and introduce the notorious antagonist Thragg.
It’s plausible that part of the upcoming season might take place in space, which makes me wonder if that’s what Kirkman is hinting at.
It’s likely that we’ll get acquainted with several fresh characters, similar to what happened in season 3, for instance, Jeffrey Dean Morgan playing the role of Conquest and Jonathan Banks portraying Brit.
Additionally, Kirkman provided insights into the production process for seasons 2 through 4, stating: “In order to maintain a steady pace, we’re simultaneously working on several seasons.
At one point, we were simultaneously developing seasons 2, 3, and 4 concurrently, each in distinct phases.
Whenever a new season arrives, allowing us to openly discuss it, it signifies that the challenging task of maintaining all that mental juggling subsides.
For two to three years, we’ve been laboring diligently in the background to produce these seasons. Now, being able to present our work to the viewers and receive feedback to see if we’ve done well is genuinely thrilling for us.
As a die-hard fan, I’m eagerly anticipating that Robert Kirkman plans to unleash an annual season of Invincible. Here’s to hoping we’ll get another dose of superhero thrills in the year 2026!
