Victoria Justice Reacts to Ariana Grande's Oscars Success

Victoria Justice wants nothing but a victorious life for Ariana Grande.

Following the triumph of Ariana’s portrayal in Wicked, which secured her a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the 2025 Oscars on March 2, the former star of Victorious has been brimming with joy and celebration.

At the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s 33rd Annual Academy Awards Viewing Party, Victoria expressed her joy to TopMob News about Ariana and co-star Cynthia Erivo’s Oscars performance. She noted that they both excelled significantly in their performance. Victoria also mentioned her excitement about being nominated for an Oscar herself. In case you missed it, Ariana and Cynthia took on their roles as Glinda and Elphaba and began the Oscars, hosted by Conan O’Brien, with a performance of songs celebrating the land of Oz, including “Defying Gravity”. This captivating rendition left the glamorous audience standing up in applause.

In the excitement, Victoria continues to revel in her ex-costar’s award-winning performance – “Wicked,” with 10 nominations, won two Oscars for Best Costume Design and Production Design. Remarkably, despite their hectic schedules, the cast of “Victorious” always manage to stay connected.

In a conversation with TopMob,” the actress from Depravity said, “There’s a continuous dialogue thread among us. It fluctuates in its level of activity, but I believe that due to the significant moments we shared during our lives, whether or not we regularly hang out, we’ll always be cheering each other on. And that’s how I feel about her and every single member of my cast.

Indeed, there’s much cause for celebration (such as her “Victorious” co-star Avan Jogia’s engagement to Halsey), but Victoria is equally excited about the other plans she has in store for this year.

She mentioned that she’s currently playing Dylan Pryor in the ongoing spinoff of “Suits LA,” which is being broadcasted on NBC and Peacock. Additionally, she’s been focusing on her music and has an intriguing project lined up in a few months.
