About

Shine in despair…

Tokyo, 2055. War, resource depletion, population decline.

In a disheartening setting, young women kick off their vibrant, freshly styled live broadcasts here. Today’s stream commences with fresh outfits and hairdos.

They are evaluated, graded, and depleted. The only things left shining, those which had once beheld the world, were their eyes – now cloudy and dim.

In a colorless, dark world, one girl awakens.

“HELLO WORLD! I’m Ai from Vstar!”

As a gamer, I find myself moved by the melodious voice of this girl, whose songs bring joy to people everywhere, even in the darkest corners. Yet, she never falters, continuing to sing and spread her music far and wide.

Until the day the world ends.

Featuring character designs by Osamu Nobusawa.
