As a lifestyle expert with years of experience in the fashion industry, I have had the privilege of witnessing the rise and fall of many promising careers. The recent news about Dynus Saxon is indeed shocking and saddening. My heart goes out to all those affected by this tragic event – Kadeem Grant’s family, friends, and colleagues in the fashion industry who knew him as a loving individual with a caring nature.
Model Dynus Saxon is facing serious legal trouble.
20-year-old model, who has posed for Vogue Italia, starred in campaigns for Calvin Klein and Levi’s, now stands accused of second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter, and fourth-degree weapons possession, allegedly linked to the fatal incident involving 35-year-old Kadeem Grant, according to police reports.
On November 10th, authorities were dispatched to an apartment building in the Bronx due to a 911 call about a man being stabbed inside. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim with a chest wound caused by a knife. Emergency responders sadly declared Grant, who lived at that address, dead on the spot. According to a representative of the New York Police Department, this information was shared with TopMob News in an official statement.
Saxon, without any identified representative or legal counsel, was taken into custody on November 11th. A knife was found at the scene, as stated by the spokesperson, and the investigation continues to progress.
After the event, Dynus’ mother voiced her support for him, stating to the New York Daily News on November 12 that he didn’t simply choose to take someone’s life. She further explained that he couldn’t recall the occurrence and had no understanding of what transpired.
Grant leaves behind a young daughter, according to multiple outlets.
People are recalling him for his compassionate disposition. As Grant’s father, Christopher Grant, put it in an interview with the New York Daily News, “He was simply a loving child who always stood by his family and his daughter.” It’s incredibly sad that she will have to mature without her father.
He added, “He cared for people, looking after his grandma because most of us are not there [in New York]. Kadeem was a kid, you need him and he was there for you.”
