As a lifelong connoisseur of animated cinema, hailing from the quaint village of Walls-end where Wallace and Gromit reside in my dreams, I must say the new clip from “Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl” has me utterly smitten! The return of the iconic duo, coupled with the introduction of a smart, sassy gnome named Norbot, is an absolute delight.
In a fresh development, the BBC has unveiled a new teaser for their upcoming Wallace & Gromit movie titled “Vengeance Most Fowl”. This sneak peek showcases Wallace’s newest creation, which goes by the name of Norbot.
Norbot, a pre-programmed, garden-tending gnome, is set to have its voice provided by Reece Shearsmith. Initially, this gnome will win over the locals with its gardening tasks. However, things take an unexpected turn when it appears that Norbot may be developing a sinister personality of its own.
This coming Christmas season, a 79-minute movie, jointly produced by Aardman, is scheduled to broadcast on both BBC One and BBC iPlayer. Notably, it brings back the notorious character, Feathers McGraw, who has been a long-standing icon.

In addition to Shearsmith, the film’s star-studded lineup also features Ben Whitehead portraying Wallace, alongside comedians Peter Kay and Lauren Patel, along with Diane Morgan, Adjoa Andoh, Lenny Henry, and Muzz Khan.
In his statement, Shearsmith expressed his delight: “Being a great admirer of Wallace & Gromit, collaborating with Nick, Merlin, and the Aardman crew on Norbot has been an absolute pleasure. I believe viewers of all ages are in store for a fantastic adventure, and I’m eagerly anticipating the day when everyone gets to watch it!”
At the same time, the movie’s creators, Nick Park and Merlin Crossingham, mentioned excitedly: “We are thrilled to present Norbot, a handy robotic gnome who assists Gromit in gardening tasks.”
Among all his creations, Norbot stands as Wallace’s most impressive accomplishment to date, with him proclaiming it as his “best invention yet!” While garden gnomes have been a staple in the world of Wallace and Gromit for some time, Norbot is not your typical lawn ornament. This smart-gnome represents the pinnacle of gnome technology.
