Next month marks the debut of Ivy Road’s captivating game, Wanderstop, which was recently showcased at the Annapurna Interactive event. Catch a glimpse of its enthralling trailer right here. Enjoy!
Wanderstop recounts the tale of Alta, a former warrior who finds herself at an off-the-beaten-path teashop nestled within a forest. Despite her initial discomfort, she serves tea to diverse travelers while managing the shop. The trailer offers glimpses into the workings behind the teashop, the intricacies involved in brewing drinks, and some of the fantastical beings Alta encounters.
Originating from Davey Wreden, the creator behind “The Stanley Parable,” and collaborating with Karla Zimonja, co-creator of “Gone Home,” this soothing, comforting simulation aided Wreden in his recovery from the exhaustion experienced following other projects.
The game titled Wanderstop will be released on March 11th, available on both PS5 and PC platforms. Additionally, a version for Xbox Series X/S has been announced as well. At present, a demo of the game can be found on Steam, aligning with the ongoing Steam Next Fest (ending on March 3rd). Keep an eye out for further details and announcements coming from the Annapurna Interactive Showcase.
