At long last, Monster Hunter Wilds has arrived, yet there’s one aspect that has gamers puzzled: To customize their character’s appearance if they later decide to switch things up from their original look, players must shell out real-world currency.
At the start of the game, players are given the opportunity to design and personalize their characters without charge. However, if they choose to modify their character later, there will be a requirement for them to spend real money. This particular aspect of character customization was not demonstrated in the review versions of the game, leading players to assume they wouldn’t need to spend money each time they wanted to alter their character’s appearance.

This principle is applicable when modifying the Palico, a character who accompanies the main player throughout the game. Fortunately, altering superficial aspects such as hair style, skin tone, eye color, and clothing are free. However, for deeper customizations, there’s a fee involved.
What’s the price for these items? Here are some options:
1. The Monster Hunter Wilds Character Edit Voucher Pack, which includes three customization vouchers, is priced at $6 USD.
2. Another option is a three-voucher pack for the Palico, also costing $6 USD.
3. There’s also a voucher available for $10 USD. This one allows players to redesign both their character and the Palico three times each on separate occasions.
It’s good news that Capcom offers a complimentary voucher to all gamers, enabling them an extra opportunity to modify their character and Palico without charge. However, when this voucher expires, any further significant changes will require payment.
