Warframe: 1999 Demo Announced for October 16th

As a seasoned Warframe veteran with countless hours spent in Tennno-verse, the announcement of the upcoming expansion, Warframe: 1999, has sent my heart racing faster than my Atomicycle! Having survived countless raids on Ceres and defeated more Orokin than I care to remember, the prospect of exploring Höllvania and battling Scaldra feels both thrilling and nostalgic.

The upcoming free expansion for Warframe, titled “Warframe: 1999,” from Digital Extremes is set to release this Winter. But fear not, fans won’t have much of a wait – a demo will be live starting October 16th! Players can take control of Arthur (voiced by Ben Starr) and traverse Höllvania on their Atomicycle.

Additionally, there’s an interactive Elimination Task featuring Scaldra. However, specifics about its content remain undisclosed. The developer has, however, verified that players must finish the missions titled “Awakening” and “Vor’s Prize” prior to accessing the demo. Upon successful completion, you will be rewarded with the Protokol Longsword Skin at no cost.

In the upcoming main quest for the free-to-play action RPG called Warframe, titled “Warframe: 1999”, the Protoframes are on a mission to locate Dr Entrati. This storyline offers more down-to-earth combat compared to the original game. Concurrently, players will need to tackle the Technocyte Code, which shares connections with “1999”. The objective is to eliminate the virus, On-Lyne, that the Technocyte Code presents.

Check out extensive gameplay here and stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
