Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine is remastered for Xbox and PC, and it’s coming day one to Game Pass

On Thursday, Games Workshop unveiled Warhammer Skulls 2025, featuring the announcement of a remastered version of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine for Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC platforms. This updated game will also be accessible on day one through Xbox Game Pass.

Below, you’ll find the trailer for the aptly named Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition. Have a look!

Initially, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine was crafted by Relic Entertainment and distributed by Sega. Launched in the year 2011 across Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC platforms, this game didn’t get included in Xbox’s backward compatibility feature, hence it couldn’t be played on contemporary consoles until recently.

Great news for all gamers! The release of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition is set for June 10, 2025. Excitingly, Xbox users can join forces with PC players on Steam and GOG, thanks to the crossplay feature.

The initial tale, “Space Marine,” centers around Captain Titus, a member of the Ultramarines, who is dispatched to defend Forge World Graia – a colossal manufacturing planet producing gigantic war machinery for the ailing Imperium of Man, as it faces an Ork invasion.

Last year’s thrilling escapades with Titus in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 have been nothing short of exhilarating! The game is still being enriched with fresh co-op missions and additional content. Even more excitingly, Saber Interactive has hinted at potential campaign DLC, and they’re definitely working on Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3. However, we fans will have to be patient before we can embark on the next adventure with our favorite space marine.
