Today marks another day in the gaming sector, unfortunately bringing more troubling updates. On Tuesday, reporter Jason Schreier disclosed that Warner Bros. Games is closing down Monolith Productions, the studio behind Wonder Woman’s development, as well as Player First Games, the team responsible for MultiVersus, and the support unit at Warner Bros. Games San Diego.
Previously recognized for crafting the popular first-person shooter series F.E.A.R, Monolith Productions has also been behind two notable releases in recent years – 2014’s Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and its sequel, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, which were both released in 2017.
