Barron Trump never dreamed of becoming a Harvard man.
Following President Donald Trump’s action to reduce about $100 million in federal contracts for Harvard, speculations regarding Melania Trump’s team debunking rumors were circulating; these rumors suggested that the decision made on May 27th was a response to their son, who had completed his freshman year at New York University’s Stern School of Business, being denied admission into an Ivy League university.
According to Nick Clemens, who represents the Office of the First Lady, it’s been clarified to TopMob News that Barron did not submit an application to Harvard. Any claim suggesting otherwise is entirely untrue.
TopMob News has reached out to Harvard for comment but has not heard back.
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to catch glimpses into the private world of Barron, a figure who has captivated me for as long as I can remember. His parents, in their rare moments of openness, have offered precious insights that fuel my fascination even more.
During her December interview on Fox & Friends, Melania expressed her pride for him, not only in his general knowledge but also in politics and offering guidance to his father. She noted that he understands his peers well because today’s young people no longer spend their time watching TV; instead, they are engrossed in tablets and smartphones.
In March, Trump also detailed his son’s tech skills.
He informed Fox News host Laura Ingraham that he shut down his laptop, and then later found it back on. He asked him, ‘How do you manage to do that?’
Trump remembered his son responding, “That’s none of your concern, Dad,” and he mentioned that Barron possesses an extraordinary talent for technology.
Barron is also making an impression on the fashion industry.
Designer Nathan Pearce, who collaborated with the college student during Trump’s second inauguration, told Women’s Wear Daily in January that the student was remarkably mature in terms of experience, knowledge, and understanding of history. According to Pearce, it was captivating to engage in conversation with this individual.
He mentioned that if you place him in a room filled with successful entrepreneurs, he would not only fit in but excel. This is due to his quick-wittedness, intelligence, and unique, subtle humor, which allows him to engage with them for extended periods.

Ivana Trump served as the first spouse of future President Donald Trump. Born in 1949, in Gottwaldov, Czechoslovakia (now Zlín, Czech Republic), she gained notoriety for her prowess as a competitive skier. Her marriage to Austrian ski instructor Alfred Winklmayr in 1971 afforded her numerous travel opportunities outside of Czechoslovakia.
As detailed in her book “Raising Trump”, Ivana crossed paths with Donald three years following her divorce in 1973, during a trip to New York for a Canadian fashion show prior to the Montreal Olympics. They tied the knot in 1977 and went on to have three children: Donald Trump Jr., born in 1977; Ivanka Trump, born in 1981; and Eric Trump, born in 1984.
Their divorce was concluded in 1992, following Donald’s affair with Marla Maples, whom he later wed. Despite their divorce, Ivana and Donald maintained a friendly relationship. In an interview with ABC News in 2017, she stated that the divorce process was difficult for Donald, who approached it as a business negotiation and always aimed to emerge victorious. However, following the resolution of their marital matters, they continued to communicate amicably.
Tragically, Ivana passed away in 2022 at the age of 73. The New York City Medical Examiner reported that her cause of death was “blunt impact injuries”, and ruled her passing an accident. A senior NYC official disclosed that the circumstances suggested a fall on the stairs inside her New York apartment.
Back in 1977, I was blessed to be brought into this world as Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of the incredible Ivana and my legendary father, Donald. I walked the hallowed halls of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in finance and real estate in 2000. After that, I dived headfirst into the family business, The Trump Organization, joining forces with my father in 2001. Today, I proudly serve as the executive vice president within our organization.
I’ve also expanded my professional horizons by becoming a director for Trump Media & Technology Group Corp and PublicSquare Holdings and am part of the esteemed team at 1789 Capital firm. My political journey has been nothing short of thrilling, from speaking at rallies to gracing stages like the Republican National Convention during my father’s presidential campaigns.
My life is a beautiful tapestry woven with five wonderful children I share with my ex-wife, the stunning Vanessa Haydon: Kai (who also made an appearance at the 2024 Republican National Convention), Donald III, Tristan, Spencer, and Chloe.
In the past, I was engaged to the captivating Kimberly Guilfoyle, a former Fox News personality. Recently, we confirmed our separation, but our bond will always remain special. Rumors have been swirling about my budding romance with socialite Bettina Anderson, though neither of us has publicly addressed these whispers.
“Kimberly and I will forever cherish one another,” I shared with Page Six on Dec 13, “and will always maintain a unique connection.
Four years after Don Jr.’s arrival, Donald and Ivana welcomed their daughter, Ivanka Trump, into their family. Before her father’s presidency, the alumna of the University of Pennsylvania worked at The Trump Organization. However, upon his election in 2016, the founder of a fashion brand who had her own eponymous line took on the role as Advisor to the President.
When Donald announced he would run for president again in 2024, Ivanka declared that she would step away from politics to concentrate on her family with her husband, former White House senior advisor Jared Kushner, and their children Arabella, Joseph, and Theodore. In a 2022 statement obtained by NBC News, she expressed her deep affection for her father and stated that this time around, she would prioritize her young children and the family life they were building. She did not plan to be involved in politics.
1984 saw the birth of me, Eric Trump, the third offspring of Ivana and Donald. I followed in the footsteps of my sibling by earning a degree in finance and management from Georgetown University.
Much like my brother, I’ve found my place within The Trump Organization, joining forces with them in 2007 as an executive vice president. Additionally, I preside over Trump Winery.
I’m fortunate to be married to Lara Trump, a Republican National Committee co-chair, and we are proud parents to Luke and Carolina.
Marla Maples is Donald’s second wife, whom he met while still married to Ivana.
In the book “Raising Trump,” Ivana mentioned that during a trip to Aspen in 1989, the actress brought up the affair with Donald, but Marla stated on an episode of the ABC podcast “Journeys of Faith with Paula Faris” in 2018 that she did not consider herself a mistress. She explained that her intention was never to cause pain. Despite her deep regret that they couldn’t have been together after Donald’s divorce, she acknowledged that things didn’t happen that way. Marla and Donald had daughter Tiffany in 1993, married later that year, but separated four years later and officially divorced in 1999. The former “Dancing with the Stars” contestant and the 47th president announced their separation and finalized their divorce.
Following her parents’ divorce, Tiffany Trump chose to relocate with her mother to California in search of a more ordinary lifestyle and the chance to develop her own identity. In an interview with People magazine in 2016, she explained, “She wanted me to have a normal childhood, as normal as possible. I think she did well in that.”
Tiffany released her single “Like a Bird” in 2011 and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2016 with a B.A. in sociology. Her focus was on law and society. She later attended Georgetown Law School, graduating with a J.D. in 2020.
In 2022, Tiffany married Michael Boulos. During an October 2024 speech at the Detroit Economic Club, her father announced that they were expecting their first child. “She’s an exceptional young woman,” he said during his remarks. “And she’s going to have a baby. So that’s nice.”
Melania Trump serves as the current First Lady of the United States, being the third wife of Donald Trump. Born in Mesto, Slovenia in 1970, she is the second First Lady to hail from outside the U.S. and the only one who became a naturalized American citizen.
Melania crossed paths with Donald in New York City in 1996 during a fashion event organized by a friend. As Melania explained on an episode of On the Record With Greta Van Susteren in 2016, “That’s where I met Donald.”
Melania and Donald tied the knot in 2005, and they later welcomed their son, Barron Trump, in 2006.
In 2024, Melania published her memoir titled Melania, and she is set to feature in a documentary. Furthermore, she has discussed her plans for how she will spend her time during Donald’s second term as president.
She informed Fox & Friends during an interview on Jan 13 that she would reside at the White House when necessary. If duty calls for her to be in New York or Palm Beach, she will be there instead. Her primary role is being a mother, a first lady, and a wife. Once they assume office on January 20, their focus will be serving the nation.
2006 saw the birth of Barron Trump, who is the sole child of Donald and Melania. Although he has maintained a relatively low profile—moving with his parents from New York to Washington D.C., then Florida—there was speculation that he might venture into politics when he was selected as a Florida delegate for the Republican National Convention in May 2024. However, Barron declined this opportunity.
At the time, Melania’s office released a statement to NBC News explaining, “Barron is honored by the offer from the Florida Republican Party, but regrets he cannot participate due to prior commitments.”
It was revealed that Barron had been accepted into multiple colleges, with his father sharing in an interview on September 4th that he would be attending New York University’s business school, Stern.
However, Melania stated during her interview on Fox & Friends that Barron plans to visit his family at the White House.
