At Fan Expo Vancouver in February 2025, William Shatner stated that he has been asked numerous times to reprise his role as Kirk. He added, “If Kirk is to return, it must signify something.” Additionally, he shared that he’s had discussions with a writer from one of Paramount’s upcoming shows.
