Airship Syndicate’s game Wayfinder has departed from early access following a series of significant launch problems and being abandoned by publisher Digital Extremes. The 1.0 version is now available on PS4, PS5, and PC, introducing numerous updates (including the transition to a premium single-player format) and fresh content. In this latest update, we’ve introduced a fresh area called The Crucible, along with two additional Lost Zones: The Shattered Foundry and The Aegis Vault. These new zones come packed with six unique weapons and more than 15 brand-new armor sets. Some of these armor sets offer special benefits based on their design. To top it off, Nvidia DLSS is now compatible, and we’ve optimized performance in various areas.
In addition to existing characters, players have the option of introducing Lora the Vessel, who boasts an extraordinary ability: summoning a potent Avatar for combat against adversaries. Furthermore, this Avatar serves as both a protective shield for Lora and nearby allies, deflecting damage. When Lora accumulates enough energy, she can metamorphose into the Avatar, pulverizing enemies while simultaneously restoring her health.
