What is TNT Sports? UK price, free trial and how to watch

As a sports enthusiast who has been following BT Sport since its inception back in 2013, I must admit that the recent transformation of BT Sport into TNT Sports has piqued my interest. With the merger between Warner Bros. Discovery and BT Group, it seems like the world of UK and European sports is about to get a whole lot more exciting!

UK sports broadcaster BT Sport has undergone a rebrand and is now known as TNT Sports.

In the previous year, the channel underwent a rebranding and renamed itself ahead of the 2023/2024 seasons for both the Premier League football and Premiership rugby.

The change has come after BT Sport was bought by Warner Bros Discovery, a company that also owns Eurosport.

As I’ve observed over time, there seems to be a gradual merger in the making between BT Sport and Eurosport, both aiming to unite under the TNT Sports umbrella. This combined entity is set to become a single channel, offering an extensive array of content, ranging from domestic football and rugby matches, to thrilling UFC and WWE events.

For the time being, the significant update is that BT Sport has been rebranded as TNT Sports. You can now find this channel on the streaming platform, Discovery Plus.

In simpler terms, let’s clarify what TNT Sports is and its impact on UK viewers following the rebranding. Here’s a breakdown of the changes ahead.
