What Not to Wear’s Stacy London and Clinton Kelly Team Up for New Show

In the captivating world of Hollywood, where drama often unfolds like a well-scripted soap opera, we find ourselves delving into the intricate dynamics of some of the most iconic feuds that have left an indelible mark on the sands of time. Let us embark on a journey through the tumultuous relationships between these larger-than-life personalities.

Stacy London and Clinton Kelly are back with a transformation of their own.

As someone deeply passionate about fashion and style, I’m thrilled to share that after resolving our past differences, the renowned duo from the popular show “What Not to Wear” are joining forces once again. This time, they’re embarking on an exciting new venture called “Wear Whatever The F You Want,” a project that encourages individuality and self-expression through personal style.

As an ardent admirer, I can hardly contain my excitement about the upcoming reality show! This dynamic duo is set to reunite on-screen for the first time in over a decade, and I couldn’t be more thrilled. Just like their relationship has evolved, so too has fashion and the way they approach style transformations. I can’t wait to see how this collaboration unfolds!

“Since the end of ‘What Not to Wear’, the world has significantly evolved, and fortunately, so have we. Today, we no longer aim to dictate what others should do according to societal standards as there are no set norms anymore. Yet, style remains a significant means of expression, and we’re eager to guide our new clients on how they can match their personal messages with their life aspirations. It’s high time to appreciate individuality in fashion, rather than setting rules for it.” – This is the paraphrased version of Clinton and Stacy’s statement from their Aug. 26 press release.

It’s interesting to note that the upcoming series, initially set for a premiere spanning eight episodes, has actually been under development for quite some time.

Clinton, 55, excitedly announced on August 26th: “It’s finally happening!! For years, I’ve been eager to share this news with all of you. Joining forces once more with @stacylondonreal, we’re launching a new show titled ‘Wear Whatever The F You Want’. Similar to What Not To Wear, but distinctly different, our goal is to empower people to wear whatever they feel most comfortable in! Can’t wait for you to tune in!”

On Mondays too, Stacy (age 55) penned down a note for her followers, “A bit of lighthearted chitchat today. It appears that Mr. Kelly and I keep finding ourselves drawn back to each other.”

The news arrives a single year following the announcement that the former co-hosts of their TLC show (from 2003 to 2013) have reconciled after years of disagreement.

In his 2017 memoir titled “I Appreciate You, Everyone Else I… Dislike“, Clinton expressed that he felt either profound admiration for someone or strong disdain, with no middle ground.

In the same year, he expressed on social media that Stacy had blocked him, providing additional insights about the situation during his talk show called “The Chew”.

He told his co-panelists on The Chew in November 2017 that it appeared delicious but honestly, it wasn’t as juicy as it seemed. Furthermore, he admitted he couldn’t recall if she had blocked him recently or some time ago; it could have been days, weeks, or even a year. And although there was a chance she might have accidentally unblocked him, she hadn’t done so yet.

“Let me clarify that I have absolutely no issues or problems with Stacy,” he added. “If you ever want to return to The Chew, you are more than welcome here anytime.”

It took almost six years before he and Stacy could reconcile, which occurred when Stacy experienced a moment of insight regarding her relationships. They shared all the particulars during their initial joint television interview in a decade.

In an interview with Today in September 2023, Stacy shared that while she was daydreaming in the shower about returning to work, she found herself thinking negatively about her coworkers, saying, “I don’t want to see this person. I don’t want to see that person.” Then, she paused and questioned, “Hold on, what do we all have in common here? Could it be possible that I might be the one causing the issue?” In other words, Stacy had a realization that her negative feelings towards her coworkers could potentially stem from herself.

She added, “I penned numerous letters, not only to Clinton, but also expressing regret for my actions and acknowledging my role in shaping that environment. Growth is essential. Once you understand that you’ve made a mistake, the only way forward is to strive for improvement.”

Clinton and Stacy aren’t the only starts to become embroiled in a feud. Keep reading for more.

In January 2024, Bobby (depicted to the left of Tan), who had recently announced his departure from Queer Eye following eight successful seasons, spoke out to dispel speculation about a rift with Tan (positioned centrally).

He assured Vanity Fair, “Tan and I are doing well, despite what may have transpired.” He added, “There was a private matter between us that’s separate from the show. It was an ongoing issue, and to set the record straight, it wasn’t romantic in nature.”

By March 2024, Tan defended himself against accusations that he had been pushing for Jeremiah Brent to take over from Bobby on the show “Queer Eye”.

He shared on Instagram that Netflix and the production companies conducted a thorough casting process, but he didn’t recommend his friend for the role. Instead, the friend was chosen because they were the most suitable candidate for the job. However, he didn’t play a part in their hiring by eliminating someone else.

In a December 2023 episode of her podcast “Let’s Be Clear,” Holly Marie Combs, who previously acted with Shannen on Charmed, claimed that Alyssa had put the show producer in a difficult position by demanding they pick between herself and Shannen. This supposed ultimatum is said to have contributed to Shannen leaving the show in 2001.

In February 2024, Alyssa posted on Instagram, “I didn’t possess the ability to terminate anyone’s employment,” and she also stated that “by now, any accounts sharing this incident are merely rewriting history.”

The following day, during a panel discussion at MegaCon Orlando, Shannen declared, “I’m not witnessing any reinterpretation of history in the truth as I understand it.”

In September 2023, while engaging in a game called Stir the Pot on TopMob News with her daughter Kelly Osbourne, Sharon remarked that the actress from That ’70s Show was the most impolite celebrity she had ever encountered. She labeled him as “very rude” multiple times and referred to him as a “nasty little boy” and a “villainous little character.”

He did not respond to her remarks publicly.

Five years ago, Sharon shared with Larry King that when Ashton was a guest on The Talk in 2014, he displayed a certain attitude towards her after she mistakenly called him by the wrong name.

She recounted him asking, “‘Who are you? What have you accomplished in this field?'” She responded, “Listen here, child, because I’ll make mincemeat of you if you keep pushing my buttons. You don’t have the faintest idea who you’re messing with.”

In a TikTok challenge from 2022, JoJo Siwa accused Candace Cameron Bure of being the rudest celebrity. She explained that her feelings were hurt when Bure declined to take a photo with her on a red carpet. However, shortly after this remark, the actress from Full House apologized: “I inadvertently shattered your 11-year-old heart by not taking a picture with you. I feel terrible, I feel – JoJo, I’m truly sorry.”

Initially, there were disagreements between them, but later they reconciled. However, several months down the line, Candace was posed a question concerning whether the Great American Family network, where she holds the position of chief creative officer, would incorporate same-sex couples as main characters in their holiday movies. In response, she stated that it is unlikely and further emphasized that the core values of Great American Family will continue to uphold traditional marriage.

In 2021, JoJo openly identified as part of the LGBTQ+ community, and they expressed on Instagram that the actress’ remark was “unpleasant and painful for an entire group of individuals.”

In June 2021, Courtney Love claimed that Olivia Rodrigo had used Hole’s album cover for a promotional photo without giving proper credit. Rodrigo responded with “I love you and I live through this so much.” Later on, Courtney said to Rodrigo, “You’re welcome. My favorite florist is in Notting Hill, London! Feel free to message me for details! I can’t wait to read your letter [winking face emoji].”

During an episode of “Watch What Happens Live”, the actor from “Happy Days” was questioned about his strained relationship with the star of “Forrest Gump” during the filming of the 1989 movie “Turner & Hooch”.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d rephrase it as follows: “For 13 days, I was immersed in directing that movie. Then, unexpectedly, I found myself summoned to Jeff Katzenberg’s office. With a casual yet firm tone, he looked at me and said, ‘Have you got everything? Go home,’ he instructed.”

Despite some initial differences, it appeared that Winkler really bonded with Hanks’ canine costar. He even went as far as saying, “We got along wonderfully, wonderfully well together.” He also expressed his affection for the dog, stating, “I adore that dog.”

He also refused to admit if he’s even seen the flick.

“You know what you did!”

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I can’t help but reminisce about the unforgettable moment from The Hills, when my character delivered that memorable line during the season three premiere. The tension between us truly escalated when Heidi began dating none other than Spencer Pratt, and it reached its zenith when I accused Heidi and Spencer of spreading a rumor about a suggestive video involving me and Jason Wahler.

The costars reignited their ongoing feud when Tyrese publicly called out Dwayne on Instagram after the Fast and Furious 9 release date was pushed back to April 2020. That same day, it was announced that a Fast and Furious spinoff starring Dwayne and Jason Statham would hit theaters in 2019. The following month, Tyrese threatened to quit Fast 9 if Dwayne was in the movie.

Later on, Tyrese discussed the ongoing disagreement during an episode of the “The Red Pill” podcast with Van Lathan, stating, “So far, I haven’t spoken to The Rock personally, but we will have a chat.” He mentioned that he had communicated with The Rock’s producing partner, but not the actor directly.

Tyrese admitted that he was the one who publicly expressed feelings on behalf of several individuals linked to the franchise, while others remained private. He acknowledged that his actions were unprofessional and not a good move.

No more bad blood here.

For quite some time, Taylor and Katy had been at odds, with the dispute apparently leading Taylor to write the song “Bad Blood.” The conflict, which supposedly began due to disagreements over a backup dancer and competing tours, was resolved when Perry extended an olive branch – literally – before Taylor’s Reputation Tour commenced.

Taylor shared on Instagram, “Just found a real olive branch in my dressing room. It means so much.” (paraphrased)

Taylor captioned the video, “Thank you Katy.”

For quite some time, it was reported that the co-stars of “Sex and the City,” specifically Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker, had managed to avoid any rumors of a feud. However, these whispers were rekindled when Kim opted not to participate in a third film and made certain remarks about her fellow actress that caused quite a stir.

Andy Cohen inquired about Sarah Jessica Parker’s response when Kim Cattrall stated they were only coworkers, not friends, during an episode of “Watch What Happens Live” on September 2017.

She expressed her feelings by saying, “I am utterly devastated. We had numerous conversations about this matter during the past week, and it has been extremely distressing for me since it doesn’t align with my recollections of our shared experience.”

She expressed, “It’s unfortunate but I find myself at a loss for words. The bond we share seems to stem from this unique shared experience, which was more than just professional. It spanned over numerous years of our lives, making it deeply personal. Therefore, I hope that this history transcends any recent discussions.” She concluded by saying, “Experiencing something so special together for such a long time is truly a privilege we should cherish.”

And though they didn’t film scenes together, Kim did make a small appearance on And Just Like That.

The legendary musicians have been at odds since 2004. At the Q Awards where Elton John received the Classic Songwriter Award that year, he expressed his disagreement to the audience saying, “Madonna, regarded as the best live act? I strongly disagree! When did miming on stage count as live performance? I apologize for my language, but I believe anyone who mimes in public, especially when people pay around 75 pounds to see them, should be criticized severely.”

In 2008, the actress who used to play the lead in Grey’s Anatomy ignited a disagreement with the show’s creator when she decided not to be considered for Emmy Awards. She explained that the reason behind her decision was that the roles she was given didn’t merit an award nomination.

Later on, Shonda spoke openly about Katherine’s choice in an interview with Oprah Winfrey on ‘Oprah’s Next Chapter’ in 2012. She expressed, “On one hand it hurt and on the other I wasn’t taken aback. When people reveal their true nature, trust them. That phrase has been a guide for me, and it has proven useful.”

During the New York Fashion Week, there was a high-profile argument between Nicki and Cardi that made headlines globally at the Harper’s Bazaar Icon party. A month later, Cardi revealed what had sparked the disagreement with Nicki.

For some time now, she’s been firing numerous criticisms at me, Cardi mentioned in W magazine’s Art Issue. “We had two conversations prior, and we reached a consensus. However, she persisted with her actions.”

The main cause of the argument between Cardi and Nicki was ignited when it appeared that Nicki had initially ‘liked’ and then ‘unliked’ a tweet criticizing Cardi’s parenting abilities, an action which Nicki later claimed she didn’t do.

Cardi B shared, “I was set to earn millions from my Bruno Mars tour, but I chose to stay with my daughter instead.” She went on to express her love for her child, stating, “I am a fantastic mom, so for those who don’t have children, it’s hard for them to understand this decision. People often suggest that the party wasn’t the right time or place to discuss this, but I won’t encounter another artist in the supermarket or on the street.”

The conflict between Kanye and Taylor Swift initially arose in 2009 during her acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards, when the rapper interrupted her moment to express his opinion. Despite reconciling and building a friendship years later, their relationship deteriorated following the release of his song “Famous,” which mentioned her by name.

It’s been more than fifteen years since the ongoing dispute between Mariah and J.Lo began. The disagreement traced back to when Mariah was asked for her thoughts on various singers in an interview. When asked about Jennifer, she simply stated, “I am not familiar with her.”
