As a seasoned movie buff who’s seen his fair share of romantic comedies, I can confidently say that Emily in Paris is like a fine French wine – sweet, bubbly, and surprisingly addictive! After a long wait, we’re finally heading back to the City of Love for another round of Emily’s love triangle.
After more than a year and a half off our screens, we’re heading back to the City of Love for Emily in Paris season 4, everyone’s favourite hate-watch.
In a return to her character, Lily Collins portrays Emily Cooper once more, this time as a marketing exec who’s made a name for herself in Paris. However, her romantic affairs seem to be lacking stability.
She has “strong feelings” for both Gabriel and Alfie, but the former is expecting a baby with his ex Camille, while “Alfie’s worst fears” about Emily and Gabriel have been “confirmed”.
According to Darren Star, who spoke with Deadline, an intriguing point to ponder during the upcoming season is that Emily didn’t travel to Paris seeking romance, but instead, she was there for employment.
“I believe that Emily and Gabriel have moved on to distinctly advanced stages in their lives, making things perhaps more intricate for them.”
In conversation with Netflix’s Tudum, he mentioned: “These characters are two star-crossed lovers who share intense feelings for each other. Despite obstacles that hinder them, I believe their bond grows more profound with each passing season, in a peculiar and intriguing manner.”
And Emily isn’t the only one feeling the strain.
In Sylvie’s history, there’s a complex problem that has significant implications for her career standing and marital life. Meanwhile, Agence Grateau experiences substantial changes within its staffing structure.
Moreover, Mindy and her musical group are busy planning for their Eurovision appearance, yet they need to obtain the required finances before they can turn this dream into reality.
In a first for Emily in Paris, the new season has been split into two parts.
Part 1 of Season 4 will be available starting on August 15th, while Part 2 follows on the streaming platform a month later, specifically on September 12th.
However, let’s clarify when the broadcast is scheduled – here’s the information about the release times for the episodes.
What time is Emily in Paris season 4 arriving on Netflix?
Prepare your alarms, as Emily in Paris season 4 part 1 is scheduled to arrive on Netflix UK at 8:00 AM British Summer Time on Thursday, August 15th.
