What You Need to Know for Naruto & Burger King’s Big Team Up

Naruto and Burger King are joining forces for an exciting international partnership, here’s what you should know about the changes coming to their menus. Recently, the 20th anniversary of Masashi Kishimoto’s anime series, Naruto, began with a host of fun projects to commemorate the franchise’s impressive journey over the past two decades. This year, the celebrations continue as Burger King France has announced a partnership with Naruto that includes a revamped menu and exclusive merchandise available only in the region.

Earlier this week, Burger King France hinted at a forthcoming partnership with the popular anime series, Naruto. They’ve since shared some fresh artwork giving us a sneak peek into what we might see in this exciting collaboration. Now, they’ve formally unveiled their upcoming menu modifications on their website. Expect new burgers, chicken sandwiches, unique merchandise, an exclusive kids’ Naruto meal, and special Naruto-inspired sauce! However, it remains to be seen if this partnership will extend beyond Burger King France.

What’s New for Naruto’s Burger King Menu?

According to Burger King France’s official website, their latest collaboration with Naruto has resulted in the restaurant being renamed “BKonoha.” The revamped menu features two distinct sections, one inspired by Naruto and another by Sasuke. The Naruto-themed burger boasts a sesame seeded white bun, beef, emulsified soy sauce, onions, and cheese. In contrast, the Sasuke-inspired burger swaps out the beef patty for chicken. Fans can also look forward to purchasing exclusive Naruto hats or Sasuke t-shirts as part of this new menu rollout. Additionally, there’s a special treat in store for kids too!

I’ve noticed that the latest addition to our lineup includes unique Naruto cards, a hat, and a special Naruto sauce – quite a catch for Naruto enthusiasts! However, it remains unclear whether Burger King plans to extend this collaboration beyond France. Given the enduring popularity of Naruto in the U.S., particularly among a specific generation, introducing this anime-themed offering here could create a significant buzz among fans (as they continue to explore the potential of anime).

What’s Next for Naruto?

Collaboration between Naruto and Burger King seems to be limited to France at the moment, but luckily there’s more Naruto content on the horizon that could drop later this year. In honor of its 20th anniversary, a special four-episode anime series featuring the original version of Naruto was released. This revives Team 7 as they appeared before Shippuden, and fans have been eagerly anticipating these new episodes since the new anime has faced an indefinite delay for almost a year now.

Initially slated for release in autumn 2023, marking Naruto’s 20th anniversary, it appears that the unveiling of these new episodes has not yet taken place. Given that there are only four episodes planned for this special release, I have high hopes that we’ll witness some progress soon. Meanwhile, fans like myself eagerly await fresh content from Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, as the continuation series has been on an open-ended break for a couple of years now, too.
