The heartwarming, true-life romance between Hallmark favorites Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum mirrors the classic love stories often seen on the network, and viewers are thrilled about it.
In real life, the character Elizabeth Thornton from Krakow doesn’t have romantic ties with multiple suitors as portrayed in Hallmark Channel’s When Calls the Heart. Instead, she is romantically involved with Rosenbaum, the actor who plays Mike Hickam on the show.
Krakow and Rosenbaum have been acquainted for over a decade, having worked together on WCTH since 2014. However, it wasn’t until 2022 that keen-eyed spectators began to speculate that they might be something more than just friends and co-stars.
In the spring of 2022, the two were seen on a romantic getaway with fellow “WCTH” duo Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace, but chose not to address rumors that they were in a relationship. Krakow and Rosenbaum spent an enjoyable day touring the Warner Bros. studio, including a visit to the Friends set alongside McGarry and Wallace.

Exactly one year following the engagement of McGarry and Wallace in New York City, the quartet made their way back to this bustling metropolis, as it was here that they had witnessed their union a year prior (with the marriage taking place in September 2024).

After many years of rumors, Rosenbaum made his relationship with Krakow official by posting a photo of her on Valentine’s Day. On Instagram, he captioned the picture, “The first and last thing I see every day. Wishing you a Happy Valentine’s Day ❤️❤️.” The post featured Krakow along with their dog.
Meanwhile, Krakow posted her initial kissing picture with Rosenbaum as a joyful celebration for the occasion of the love festival.
