Contrary to the whispers, the star of “Only Murders in the Building” assures us that their friendship remains as strong as ever and those rumors are nothing but a myth.
As Selena told Vanity Fair in a profile published Sept. 9, “She is really like a big sister to me.”
Their most recent appearance in public was at the Golden Globe Awards in January, sparking a buzz on the internet as photographers captured them engaged in hushed conversations with each other.
Ever since then, as a lifestyle aficionado, I’ve been keeping tabs on the social life of the singer famously known for “Fortnight,” who’s dating NFL star Travis Kelce. Notably, she’s been seen spending quality time with other high-profile pals like Blake Lively, Brittany Mahomes, Ice Spice, and Lana Del Rey during her tour breaks. On the other hand, Gomez, who’s found a connection with music producer Benny Blanco, has stayed active, spending time with “Only Murders in the Building” co-stars Martin Short and Steve Martin.
Nevertheless, the “Single Soon” artist’s words are likely to bring comfort to both Swifties and Selenators; given their longstanding friendship that dates back to 2008 when they became acquainted while dating members of the Jonas Brothers.
