The Voivode’s safe conduct letter is concealed within a hollowed-out tree that stands directly north of Marika’s secret hideout in Apollonia. After leaving the cave where they are currently hiding, follow a northeasterly path until you reach a tiny stream, and there you’ll find the “Well” marker on your map. The well will show up as a small puddle with a bucket beside it, whereas the tree has a noticeable chunk missing from it, which you can interact with.


After excavating this tree, a pop-up menu featuring the Voivode’s safe-conduct letter will emerge. You can then move this item to your personal inventory and even store other items within if you decide to utilize it as a temporary storage box. Although not particularly practical, it does provide an immersive gaming experience.

With the Voivode’s safe-passage letter in hand, you face two possibilities: either hand it over directly without assisting Marika or find a way to recover the amulet by using it. While Aranka and Marika might be disappointed in your actions, you’ll certainly save some time.

To ensure the most favorable outcome with Marika and Bohush, it’s essential to converse with Aranka. She discloses that the Voivode enjoys gambling and placing bets. This fresh knowledge can be utilized to persuade the Voivode to make a wager. You’ll then engage in contests against Tibor to determine the winner. If you wish, you can manipulate the first match to win effortlessly by sabotaging Tibor, or you can strive for fair play if that aligns with your approach. Acquiring the best horse is a wise initial move to boost your chances of victory.
