Avowed Horsecutter Location

In the Emerald Stair, which follows Dawnshore as the second explorable region, lies Horsecutter. This sword is currently being wielded by some kind of skeleton ruler nestled in a cove along the southern coastline. Despite its appearance, the skeleton is not yet deceased; to claim Horsecutter, you must first demonstrate your worthiness. Prepare for battle, and since you haven’t enhanced your equipment in Avowed just yet, this might be an opportune moment to do so.

Engage in a combat duel with the Bone King to initiate a skirmish. His bodyguard will join the fray, attacking you and your group. Defeat him, and additional skeleton warriors will emerge to battle. The fight can become quite chaotic, particularly on the toughest setting. Prioritize taking out archers and healers, and instruct your comrades to engage the Skeleton Monks and other melee enemies to keep them busy.

After you defeat all the skeletons hiding in the cove, make your way back to the Skeletal Master, and he will grant you the prize of Horsecutter for your triumphant effort.

How Good is Horsecutter?

This weapon is a type that requires two hands to wield. It’s capable of inflicting significant amounts of both standard and stun damage. Uniquely, this weapon features two special effects:

1. When you strike an opponent, there’s a chance they’ll be momentarily stunned, unable to retaliate.
2. Upon landing a critical hit, the weapon emits a powerful shockwave that can knock nearby enemies off balance.
