White Lotus Star Hints at Dream Collab with BLACKPINK’s Lisa

Warning: This story contains spoilers for the season three finale of The White Lotus.

The White Lotus season three has played its final chords.

Despite the show’s finale, which was emotionally intense and lasted 90 minutes, for one actor, a new chapter is opening. While Tayme Thapthimthong, who played Gaitok, was already well-known in Thailand due to his singing abilities from the reality show ‘Academy Fantasia’, his musical talent has now reached a broader audience through the HBO series.

With his screen partner depicted by none other than Lisa from Blackpink (whose real name is Lalisa Manoban), fans eagerly anticipate a potential musical collaboration between the two.

Tayme shared with TopMob News during the White Lotus post-finale panel at Four Seasons, presented by American Express, “I’d love to, but it might depend on my management’s decision about whether I can or not. If given the chance, it would be fantastic.

Meanwhile, the 35-year-old is eager to devote more time to his personal music, mentioning upcoming meetings with several producers post-Coachella. Yet, he’s still basking in the joy of being part of a beloved TV show.

He mentioned that he was feeling quite emotional at the moment. “I’ve never experienced anything quite like this before,” he continued. “It’s a massive leap from my entire career to where I am now, and it’s truly humbling to have everyone here congratulating me. It means a lot.

Indeed, Tayme played a crucial—yet painfully tragic—part during the finale. Upon Lek Patravadi’s request, he ended up shooting Rick when the latter was holding the wounded Chelsea in his arms.

For the peace-preaching Gaitok, it was a turning point from which he could never return.

During the panel, Tayme expressed that his character is driven by all the discussions he’s had with Mook and others. This makes him feel compelled to act. With Sritala urging ‘Kill him,’ Tayme believes his character has made up his mind: He feels there’s no other choice left for him.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t contain my excitement when I reflect on the chance I had to embody a character undergoing such a deep transformation. It was more than just a role; it was a journey that left me breathless and eager for every step.

Tayme shared, “It was a fantastic experience to create a character from scratch for the first time, and I found it particularly enjoyable. This is because Gaitok seems to share many of my traits – his cheerful demeanor, friendliness, and love for conversation. On the other hand, his stressful moments are based on my experiences in the military during challenging times. Drawing from those episodes, I was able to determine when and how his character evolves within each episode.

To learn more about the cast behind this season of The White Lotus, keep reading.

How do you feel about that? The artist commonly known as Lisa transitioned from being a global rockstar with the K-pop group Blackpink (alongside Jisoo, Jennie, and Rosé) to putting on the White Lotus staff uniform for her first role as Mook.

It appears that the actor who played Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter series has apparently missed the train to Hogwarts and found himself instead at The White Lotus. To clarify: Although he sports a different look without his signature luscious blond hair, this star is set to reappear on our screens as another aristocratic character, taking on the role of Timothy Ratliff – a “wealthy businessman holidaying with his wife and three children.

Isaacs has recently been seen on television shows such as Robot Chicken, The Great, and Sex Education (with his White Lotus co-star Aimee Lou Wood).

Instead of shouting when you notice it, Posey, who portrays Timothy’s wife Victoria Ratliff, might seem familiar to you from her films like “Superman Returns,” “Blade: Trinity,” “Scream 3” and “Dazed and Confused.” Additionally, she has made brief appearances on popular TV shows such as “Parks and Recreation,” “New Girl,” “Portlandia,” and “Search Party.

However, true rom-com enthusiasts would recognize her as Patricia Eden, Tom Hanks’ girlfriend from the 1998 film “You’ve Got Mail”, a well-known classic.

Known primarily from family snapshots as the offspring of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, he has previously established his acting prowess in shows like Gen V, The Terminal List, and The Staircase. However, it was his role as Saxon Ratliff in season three that truly brought him into the limelight.

Before playing Piper Ratliff, Hook had already dabbled in horror and fantasy roles. She was Debbie Glatzel in “The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It”, Juliette Fairmont in “First Kill”, and Elena Milak in “Monsterland”.

In addition to recognizing me from the 2024 remake of “Cruel Intentions” as the captivating Caroline Merteuil, you might also recall my performance in Ryan Murphy’s cinematic universe, where I portrayed Catherine Allday Davis during the gripping depiction of the Bill Clinton–Monica Lewinsky scandal in “Impeachment: American Crime Story.

Nivola, currently in a relationship with Iris Apatow (daughter of Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann), completes the Ratliff family as the character Lochlan. Prior to his Thailand adventure, he was part of another series that revolved around a wealthy beachside family: “The Perfect Couple,” where he portrayed Will Winbury, the son of Greer and Tag Winbury, characters played by Nicole Kidman and Liev Schreiber respectively. Interestingly enough, Nivola shared screen time with Meghann Fahy, known for her role in “White Lotus,” who previously appeared as Daphne Sullivan on season two of the HBO show and later portrayed Merritt Monaco on “The Perfect Couple.

Nivola has additionally appeared in the movie “White Noise” alongside Adam Driver, as well as “Maestro” featuring Bradley Cooper, and “With/In” starring Anne Hathaway.

Undoubtedly, as an ardent enthusiast of “White Lotus”, I can’t help but recognize the exceptional talent that is Jennifer Clement, who enchanted us as Belinda, the spa guru in Maui during season one. Not only has she returned to her role for season three, but this versatile actress has also made a striking impact on our screens with appearances in “Insecure”, “Wonka”, “A Year and Change”, and “Love, Simon”. Adding to her impressive resume, she showcased her comedic prowess as a writer for “Saturday Night Live” from 2014 to 2015.

The actress who played Iron Man is now gathering her forces to play Kate in The White Lotus, following her role as Christine Everhart in the Marvel series. Not too long ago, she appeared as Dinah Donahue in Palm Royale and as Grace Kennedy-Sampson in Jupiter’s Legacy.

In this new season, the actress known for her roles during the Gilded Age, as well as The Sinner, Fargo, and The Leftovers, takes on the character of Laurie. She travels to Thailand with friends Kate and Jaclyn for a fun-filled girls’ vacation.

In her role as Jaclyn on “The White Lotus,” she indeed portrays a TV star. Interestingly, this isn’t just acting for her; she’s a real-life television actress, with appearances on shows like “True Detective,” “Bad Monkey,” “Messiah,” and “The Path.” On the silver screen, she’s made her mark as Julia in “Mission: Impossible – Fallout” and Angie Genaro in “Gone Baby Gone.

It’s reassuring to realize that it isn’t just your imagination—Goggins does indeed seem familiar. Apart from appearing in two films directed by Quentin Tarantino (as Billy Crash in “Django Unchained” and Sheriff Chris Mannix in “The Hateful Eight”), he is also renowned for portraying Boyd Crowder on the TV series “Justified,” which aired from 2010 to 2015.

In the third season, a free-spirited character named Chelsea, portrayed by an English actress, enters the cast. She shares an age-gap romance with Rick Hatchett, played by Goggins. However, she is most famously recognized for her role as Aimee Gibbs in Netflix’s “Sex Education,” and has also made appearances in “Seize Them!” and “Daddy Issues.

5 decades of acting credits lie behind me, reaching as far back as my debut role in “Grounded God” in 1975. However, more recently, I had the immense privilege to bring Prani Chiraanan to life on the set of “In Family We Trust” in 2018.

This individual, who was once a soldier and currently a singer, has acting roles such as those in “Mechanic: Resurrection,” “Skin Trade,” and “Paradox,” along with portraying the character Pao in the television show “Farang.

Should the 13 minutes you had not suffice for you to identify the German actor, let us help jog your memory. He was the one who portrayed Rudolf Höss in “The Zone of Interest”, Reinhold Gräf in “Babylon Berlin”, and Georg Elser in “13 Minutes”.
