This story contains spoilers from the March 2 episode of The White Lotus.
Not all the drama on The White Lotus takes place onscreen.
During the taping of the March 3rd episode for the HBO comedy, Walton Goggins had to confront his long-standing fear of snakes, which led to a bit of turmoil on set.
During my appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on March 5th, I shared that my fear of snakes isn’t just a common phobia. It feels more profound, as if there’s a genetic flaw in me, specifically regarding these reptiles.
In one episode scene, Rick, portrayed by Walton, becomes intoxicated and lets loose numerous snakes at a farm. Unfortunately, one of these creatures bites his co-star Chelsea (played by Aimee Lou Wood). Prior to filming, the actor was informed about which snakes were venomous. However, his main acting partner wasn’t exactly amicable during this situation.
While I was trying to remove him, the snake refused to cooperate,” the 53-year-old explained. “In response, he turned and bit me instead. I’ve never shared this anecdote with anyone before.
Although the injury was swiftly attended to on location and filming proceeded as scheduled, the tale didn’t conclude at that point.
Walton remembers receiving a call from the producer who said, “You know what, we’ve been contemplating and I’m not sure, but we’re considering that you might need to go to the hospital.” To this, Walton responded, “For what reason? You mentioned the snake wasn’t venomous, right? Am I experiencing a slow demise?
Fortunately, the Fallout underwent a safety check, and surprisingly, this incident didn’t spoil his overall exceptional experience working on the show. He had earlier referred to it as “extraordinary.
He shared with TopMob News in November, “Now, it’s just a select few who’ve had the chance to live through that experience during filming.” Reflecting on their journey, he added, “For all of us involved in this recent version, it’s something we can be proud of and consider as an achievement.

What do you think of that change? Originally a member of the globally famous K-pop group Blackpink, known by just one name as Lisa, has now switched roles, swapping the spotlight on world stages for a White Lotus staff uniform, as she embarks on her new role as Mook.
It appears that Lucius Malfoy, instead of boarding the train to Hogwarts, has checked in at The White Lotus resort. Yes, you’re correct! Although he sports a new look without his signature luscious blond hair, the actor from Harry Potter is making a comeback on our screens, this time portraying Timothy Ratliff – a wealthy businessman enjoying a vacation with his wife and three children.
Additionally, Isaacs has been seen on various television programs such as Robot Chicken, The Great, and Sex Education in recent times. Notably, he starred alongside his White Lotus co-star Aimee Lou Wood in these productions.
Instead of shouting upon encountering it, Posey, who portrays Timothy’s wife Victoria Ratliff, might seem familiar to you from her roles in films such as “Superman Returns”, “Blade: Trinity”, “Scream 3” and “Dazed and Confused”. She has also appeared in several TV series including “Parks and Recreation”, “New Girl”, “Portlandia” and “Search Party”.
However, ardent enthusiasts of romantic comedies would recognize her as Patricia Eden, the girlfriend of Tom Hanks’ character, Joe Fox, from the 1998 beloved movie “You’ve Got Mail”.
Apart from being recognized as the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver through family portraits, he has previously established his own reputation in the acting world with notable roles in “Gen V”, “The Terminal List”, “The Staircase” and now takes on the character Saxon Ratliff in season three.
Before playing the character of Piper, the Ratliffs’ daughter, Hook already had experience in horror and fantasy genres. She played Debbie Glatzel in “The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It”, Juliette Fairmont in “First Kill”, and Elena Milak in “Monsterland”.
Apart from recognizing her as Caroline Merteuil in the 2024 reboot of “Cruel Intentions,” you might be familiar with her role as Catherine Allday Davis, portrayed in Ryan Murphy’s cinematic universe, where she appeared in “Impeachment: American Crime Story.” This series focuses on the Bill Clinton-Monica Lewinsky scandal.
Nivola, who is currently dating Iris Apatow (daughter of Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann), joins the Ratliff family as the young Lochlan. Prior to his journey to Thailand, he starred in a series depicting a wealthy beach family, titled “The Perfect Couple“. In this show, he portrayed Will Winbury, the son of Greer and Tag Winbury, characters played by Nicole Kidman and Liev Schreiber. Nivola even shared screen time with Meghann Fahy, a cast member from “White Lotus”, who previously appeared as Daphne Sullivan in season two of HBO’s show and later played Merritt Monaco on “The Perfect Couple“.
Nivola has appeared in films like “White Noise” alongside Adam Driver, “Maestro” featuring Bradley Cooper, and “With/In” starring Anne Hathaway.
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but recall that enthusiasts of “White Lotus” will undoubtedly recognize the talented Sabrina Rothwell from season one, where she skillfully portrayed the tranquil spa guru Belinda in Maui. Excitingly, she is reprising her role for season three! Beyond this captivating return, Rothwell has left indelible marks on the small screen with her appearances in “Insecure,” “Wonka,” “A Year and Change,” and “Love, Simon.” Moreover, she showcased her comedic prowess as a writer for “Saturday Night Live” from 2014 to 2015.
The actress who played Iron Man in the movies has been cast to play Kate in The White Lotus, having previously portrayed Christine Everhart in the Marvel series. Lately, she’s appeared as Dinah Donahue in Palm Royale and Grace Kennedy-Sampson in Jupiter’s Legacy.
As a fervent admirer, I can hardly contain my excitement as the captivating star from the Gilded Age, whose mesmerizing performances in The Sinner, Fargo, and The Leftovers left me spellbound, takes on the role of Laurie this season. Accompanying her are old friends Kate and Jaclyn, as they embark on an exhilarating girls’ trip to Thailand, a destination that promises unforgettable memories.
In her role as Jaclyn on “The White Lotus,” Monaghan is indeed a TV personality. However, her real-life status is equally impressive, with appearances on shows such as “True Detective,” “Bad Monkey,” “Messiah,” and “The Path.” On the silver screen, she’s made notable performances as Julia in “Mission: Impossible – Fallout” and Angie Genaro in “Gone Baby Gone.
As a dedicated follower, I can assure you that my suspicion isn’t unfounded – it seems I’ve encountered him before. Beyond his roles in two films directed by Quentin Tarantino (portraying Billy Crash in “Django Unchained” and Sheriff Chris Mannix in “The Hateful Eight”), he is also renowned for his portrayal of Boyd Crowder in the TV series “Justified” from 2010 to 2015.
In the third season, a versatile English actress is added to the cast, portraying the carefree character Chelsea. Interestingly, her love interest is the character Rick Hatchett, played by Goggins, but she rose to fame as Aimee Gibbs in Netflix’s hit series “Sex Education.” You might also recognize her from her roles in “Seize Them!” and “Daddy Issues.
Her acting career stretches as far back as 50 years, beginning with the role of Grounded God in 1975; more recently, she played Prani Chiraanan in the series In Family We Trust in 2018.
Or:
With a 50-year acting career behind her, starting from 1975 with the role of Grounded God, she most recently appeared as Prani Chiraanan on In Family We Trust in 2018.
I, a die-hard fan here, can’t hide my admiration for this exceptional individual who once served our country and now graces the stage with his mesmerizing voice. He’s starred in movies like “Mechanic: Resurrection,” “Skin Trade,” and “Paradox,” and on TV, he played the captivating character Pao in “Farang.” I simply can’t get enough of his talent!
Should the 13 minutes not be sufficient for you to identify the German actor, let us jog your memory. He portrayed Rudolf Höss in “The Zone of Interest”, Reinhold Gräf in “Babylon Berlin”, and Georg Elser in “13 Minutes”.
